I went with them because I thought the designers were really good. They are my favorite contractor. I really have a lot of trust in the quality of their work. They keep good track of their sub-contractors. Their sub-contractors are good. They work on a lot of beautiful projects. They work with architects and designers who have a lot of trust in the quality of their work. They get more high end projects. My project wasn't terribly high end. There was a problem with the skylights leaking. We hung in there for a year, and they found someone who could figure out what was wrong with them. The skylight company didn't stand behind the skylight. Cascade didn't just shrug their shoulders and tell me to contact the skylight company. Cascade tried a lot of different things and then found the guy who knew how to fix them.

The company did an excellent job. They went to great lengths to build very strong supports and their finish work is beautiful.

They were great through the design, pricing and negotiation process. They were very easy to work with throughout the construction process. When miscellaneous items came up that hadn't been foreseen, they took care of them WITHOUT charging extra. The personalities of the people were very pleasing. Okay, I'm a perfectionist, so the bar is VERY high. They generally did well with all aspects of the work, except items list below: The quality of the grout work was poor. Upon showing my concern, they came back and put extra effort into the finish work of the grouting. However, the skill to provide showroom quality simply was there. (This is the only major issue.) Overall cleanliness of the construction zone was an problem. Several times, I had to clean up, so I could live in my house. There were two tiles that got chipped through the construction process. They replaced them upon my request, but hadn't noticed to damaged tiles themselves. I reserve ''A'' grades for perfection.
