Canine Classroom

We are not done yet, just had our second lesson but I am seeing improvement already.

They were able to help train our puppy and us.

Fantastic, Steve Fuller & his son Wes Fuller obviously have years of experience and a great depth of knowledge in training dogs, as well as training families too.  They take into account the environment your dog lives in (house, busy streets, country, townhouse, etc), what activities you want to do with your dog, strategies for travel with your dog, any kind of question you can come up with, they can help you with getting to a solution.
Scheduling was easy, we could always find a good time to meet.
Our dog loved Steve & Wes, she looked forward to every session.

Steve and Wes are fantastic!! We brought our rescue dog in and boy did he have some problems! Our dog came from an abusive household and was very aggressive especially towards males, but we could see in him that he had a kind heart. Enter Steve and Wes, even with our dog's behavioral issues towards men they took him on. It was a process and took making sure we did our doggy homework, but within a few months we started to see a drastic change in our pup. He was getting much better with people in public and at home which was the real problem. He became much more obedient and out came that sweet puppy that we knew was in there. In about 6 months our dog went from barking and growling at any male that came into our house for upwards of 30min to a slight growl when the doorbell rings or when there's a knock at the door, but that's it! He even greets people as they walk into the house, something we never thought possible! Steve and Wes were great with our dog and they will have our business for as long as we own dogs!

Rosie is at least 85% improved. She walks well on leash and is much less reactive around strange people and dogs. The groomer and vet love her because she is better behaved with them, even when I am not present. She no longer barks at everyone when we pass them in the car. She even used to bark at pictures of people on park benches, but not anymore. She will lie down and stay in the back of the car when I tell her to. Today she went to a pet supply store and appropriately greeted people and other dogs. She seems much more relaxed because she knows we are in charge and she does not need to protect us.
Be aware that if you do not do the homework given to you by Steve and Wes, their program and the money spent will be a waste of your time and money. Steve and Wes will continue to be a resource to you for the life of the dog as new issues arise for no additional cost.

Over the winter, we brought home our first Great Dane. Knowing that Pepper would eventually outweigh most of the family, we knew that we needed to get her into training as a puppy. Steve and Wes came highly recommended - and after nearly finishing the course, we know why. They are truly your local and quot;dog whisperers.and quot;

Watching Pepper react to their methods and to our homework has been a pleasure. She will happily stay on the leash without pulling (mostly - she is still a puppy), will come, and will stay on command - including, when we have guests. Considering she isn't yet 6 months old, it's been a fantastic experience for us - and absolutely worth the cost! (For the people worrying about cost, you need to remember that you get what you pay for. Considering what you pay for the training as a cost for getting a well behaved dog for its lifetime.)
