I priced around and he does excellent quality at the most reasonable price.

He came recommended from our realtor. He did great work, but he also did us a solid by writing to our insurance company to let them know we were going to get this work done to prevent them from dropping our insurance. (We bought a foreclosure, and we knew the roof needed replacing at the time of purchase).  He also had the lowest estimate, and we asked for three competing offers before accepting his. It took about three days to get a new roof, and they cleaned up after everything. We'd definitely choose C&C again.

Neil and his crew did an excellent job replacing our roof. They removed two layers of roof and then installed the new roof. They did a great job of cleaning up every night, took care not to damage our plants and pots and left no signs of nails or roofing material. I would highly recommend John and Neil, they were very easy to work with.

These guys did a great job. I have used other roofing companies over the years in other states, and I can honestly say that John and Neil are the best roofers I have ever come across. The crew was fabulous and I can't say enough good things about them. Highly recommended.

John and his crew came out in the cold of winter to put a new roof on my house. There were some edge roofing details that had to be sorted out the following summer that were not called out by the architect but John and crew again were pleasant to work with and took care of the issues to my satisfaction.

This roofer was busy, and our project was delayed a few weeks. Once they started, things went pretty well. Our site is difficult...house is located up a very steep slope with many steps. The roof is steeply pitched with several different small roof-lines. The project took several days longer than estimated, but that was not surprising due to the job complexity, a couple of the guys on the crew getting sick, and hot afternoons. The crew appeared to be knowledgeable, and was polite despite the difficulty of the job. The crew was responsive to a neighbor's complaint about early morning noise, and did not use power equipment before 8 am afterwards. The finished product is to our liking.

We are pleased with the quality of the work done, and the advice given by this roofer (John Forsgren, Cand C Construction). He went above and beyond adding new insulation wherever possible, and finding a skylight that could replace a failing old one.

Our only complaint was the level of the ongoing mess throughout the project, but perhaps that was to be expected. The tear-off of this 100+ yr old house was quite a dirty business.

Final clean-up was OK.

How many people can you get to come over and look at work they did years ago? On the same day? I asked what the charge would be and I would have gladly paid them, and they refused. How cool is that?

I was pleased with the outcome and recommended their services to serveral others on my block who used Cand C. The price, quality and professionalism were all good. Getting a call back and scheduling did not always go as planned.

The work was excellent, and the crew was enjoyable to have around.

John and his crew did a roof for us and they did a fantastic job. Not only were the supplies delivered when/as promised but his crew was there early every morning to get started and gone by the time I made it home. It took all of 2 1/2 days and my roof looks awesome! I feel they are honest and do a great job!

The roof looks great. The attic fan ended up in a more visible spot than I'd like (different than what was discussed). He did not offer to do electrical. The guys were professional, and they kept to the estimate despite having some unforeseen difficulties. John was difficult to pin down and get a hold of. They were quite busy. When asked to come back and use his magnet to pick up nails, he forgot and a guest ended up with a nail in her foot.

They whole crew they use seem very well educated and clean. They use the same guys every time and communicate very well with the customer. They were able to solve problems as they went along with out changing their original bid.

We waited months for our job to begin, primarily because of the weather and that we were not in a big hurry ourselves. But when the crew came, they worked hard and took care to listen to any concern. They showed up when promised and the roof looks great. After the job was finished, I asked for a return visit to go over a few minor problems with John. With sincere concern, he immediately took care of the minor flubs from their work: roofing nails collected and exposed nails snipped, some paint scratches on the house were repaired and they even replaced a broken rain gutter for me free-of-charge. I felt comfortable being able to communicate with John and his crew. It is a real plus to have workers return for the 'small stuff' as it is just as important as the bigger primary task. I would recommend C and C to others. Major factors: price, quality, consideration and friendliness.
