Great! They came and spent ample (and patient) time with us. Our neighbors across the street have several outside lights left on all night that shine into our bedroom. We chose wooden blinds. Installation came out beautiful. Had a bit of trouble with one set of pulls. They came out ( 3 months later...I was crazy busy) and their fix works perfectly. Don't mistake the name "Budget" for poor quality!

Overall, great customer service and a great product, despite a few minor issues. It took about 5 weeks to get the blinds installed from the order date. There was some delay at some point on the manufacturer side and Budget Blinds kept me informed, and then the blinds ended up being ready sooner than what was expected anyway. The install job was quick and he cleaned up after himself with the exception of sawdust on the windowsills. Budget Blinds followed up a couple weeks later and took a shade back to adjust the cord system at no charge. We do have a shade that is just a little too short, but we decided not to have them fix that one. We were a bit disappointed with the salesperson’s (Sheila) knowledge of eco-friendly blinds options. The website indicated they would be able to help us choose the most eco-friendly shade for our needs, but she knew nothing about this topic. We did our own research, and found that the shades we loved aesthetically and functionally were also eco-friendly. 'A' on Price because Budget Blinds provided a slightly better price than other companies, but Hunter Douglas products are just so very expensive...

Richard came out promptly to measure the whole house.
Fabrication & installation took about two weeks.  One blind was mis-measured; they fixed it & installed it a week later.
Overall great, wonderful warranty for the product.
The only negative was sometimes getting through on the phone -- people weren't available and I had to make repeated phone calls.  But all were professional, polite, and responsive once I got them on the phone.

Entirely professional. Michelle made good recommendations and talked us into using a vertical rather than horizontal slider on our door, which looks much better. Install happened a couple of weeks later and was painless. Highly recommended.

We had a most excellent experience.  
Richard Maryatt promptly came to our home and listened to what we wanted (new blinds through the entire house) very carefully. He carefully measured everything while we looked at his book of samples.  He was very helpful with giving us advice on what type of blind to choose and the size of the slats.  The estimate he provided was explained to us very well.  The blinds were later installed.  We love how they look!  And we feel like we have a new home!  I recommend this business very very highly.

All went smoothly other than a delay in install due to the rep incorrectly copying down my phone number on her callback form. Rather than doublecheck the number I'd provided, she continued trying the wrong number over a week's time, until I called their office and was able to schedule the install. Small mistake.

Michelle came and did our consultation and we decided to order blinds for our bedrooms in the house. She was helpful in picking out complementary colors and told us about a promotion that one of the suppliers was having. Free top down, bottom up shades for that particular month. We hadn't planned on going that route, but it was a free feature, so why not? It was slightly more expensive than their cheaper line, but we figured we were still getting a deal with that feature. We've used them before in the past and had no problems, until today, when the blinds were installed. They were not the top down, bottom up as we had ordered.
As promised, Michelle (one of the owners) called back to clarify the issue. She said she had a conversation with me about the windows being too large and we would have to pay an additional $80/window for an extra part to use the top down, bottom up feature (our windows are quite large). Problem is, she never had that conversation with me. If she had, we would have gone with the upgrade. She told me that she had it in her notes that she spoke to us about that issue, but obviously that's something I would remember. After we got off the phone, I looked up on my call log (cell phone) to see if there was any incoming calls from that business, and there were none. I rarely use my phone for actual calls, so it was easy to see that a call was never made on the date she said she made it.
In the end, I'm satisfied with our purchase, the top down, bottom up feature was going to be a free bonus, but I was unhappy with the way I was spoken to on the phone. It was her word against mine, nothing I could have done, but if we use them again, I will be sure to get everything in writing.

As I mentioned on the phone when we talked, that I am very sorry that these shades were not available with standard cords, top down bottom up, because of the oversize width of the shades. I did not catch the limitation (my mistake) until I was placing the order, which I stopped until I was able to verify with you the extra cost involved, and give you the option, which then was changed to bottom up only with cords on the right. We would have had to upgrade to a specialty lifting system to add the feature, which I quoted. You received the feature for free in addition to the new homeowner coupon of 25% off. So in this case I combined offers to make these shades as affordable as possible. They still priced out better than our other brands because of that. I do have a note on my order with the date that we did have a phone conversation. I do not remember the phone I used to call you. It may very well have been my cell phone, and not the office phone. We both seem to have different recollections of events and I am not sure what else I can do at this point to reconcile your disappointment. I really do want you to be happy with your shades, and confident that we can make it right. Please feel free to call the office if you would like to continue to explore options. Thank you, Michelle"

Every person that we've had contact with at Budget Blinds has been super friendly, patient, and prompt.  RIchard did a great job of helping us pick out our shades.  We have one defective shade (the manufacturer's fault, not Budget Blind's), and they have been great about coming out to pick it up, installing a temporary shade, and coming back to reinstall.  Unfortunately, the manufacturer didn't replace the right part in the shade, so Budget Blinds is currently doing what they can to get the shade fixed elsewhere and keep us happy.  We have not paid a penny since the original installation.  Our experience isn't over yet, but so far it has been wonderful.

I called the company and had them come and talk to me about blinds and door treatment.   There were no window or door covers for glass doors in the house.  I knew that I could not afford to get every window and door covered, but there were a group that I wanted as soon as possible.  The owner of the shop came out and showed me some of my options.   I showed him the windows and doors that I wanted covered and he explained my options   I also explained that my daughter needs to have window covering which will make her room dark due to bad headaches.  He explained all my options and I made the decisions.  He gave me a new owner's discount even tho I did not have the card from his shop yet. He also put up temporary shades on some of the windows until the permanent ones arrived.  He explained that it would take approximately two weeks before they would arrive and he would give me a call when they did. Call was received and an appointment for the installment was made.  The party which did the installing did his job quickly after we squared up where the blinds went.  There are two kitchens in this house and blinds were bought for both.  The windows are two different sizes.  The installer also cleaned up all of his mess.  I will use them again when I have to add more blinds or door covering to the house.

After an initial mixup in meeting time, we got together and worked through the many choices for window coverings for large view windows, sliding doors, bedrooms and various treatments. We had read that the one we wanted to talk to was Michelle and so we sought her out but realized it was a family business with her parents. We had used Budget Blinds 12 years ago in our current home and liked them very much. Michelle came in and LISTENED to what we wanted and then made suggestions based on her knowledge and experience. She led us to exactly what we wanted which was a bit different from what we thought we wanted. She was charming, humorous attentive and professional. We have ordered the blinds and they will be installed after the first of the year. We are confident the installation and look will be just what we wanted and ordered. Good company and good person to work with. Can't wait to see the finished look.

It went okay. We are used to working with salespeople who just can't help sharing their enthusiasm and knowledge about their product. Barbara was businesslike, but not enthusiastic, not informative, and she didn't encourage questions.Thank goodness we did not put in an order at Barbara's first visit, because it would have been an uninformed decision that we would have regretted.On our own, we discovered features she hadn't mentioned that we really liked, like cordless raise and lower, and we learned about advantages and disadvantages of thinner and thicker slats. Based on color choices, we chose blinds from two different manufacturers, for two rooms. I wish we had known that the two manufacturers produced such different quality.

I had a great experience with Budget Blinds. Mostly it was Michelle that made the experience pleasurable. I have a demanding job, which requires me to travel a lot. I did not want to take on the responsibility to pick and choose fabric and design for my window treatments. Michelle offered several solutions, brought samples and several fabric swatches. She has great taste and knows what to recommend for specific rooms and decor. I would recommend working with this team and would ensure you will be happy with the results

They have the best product and by far the cheapest price. The owner, Michelle Maryatt, was an absolute sweetheart. She was attentive to my needs, and was concerned about what I specifically asked for. She went out of her way to make sure I was happy. She also did all the measuring herself.

They were very professional in measuring the windows. The saleswoman was a brand new employee and she made a couple of errors but it was not an issue really. She took a brand of credit card they did not allow but they called to correct the issue. She also ordered a blind with the pull cord on the wrong side which they reordered and took care of. The young man who came out did a good job installing them and was very quick.
