He said it will be under $1,000 for installation and the piping materials, and he did call the county for us to make sure we didn't have to put piping into the chimney, it was too narrow so he went above and beyond that. He's very professional, he called to let me know that he's running behind, and he went above and beyond to call the county for us so I didn't have to do it. We actually used him to put a fireplace insert into our old house about four years ago. When we did go down to buy the wood stove, he told the store we bought it at to give him a call and he'll talk to them about all the supplies for the piping that he needs so we don't even have to deal with that.

During the initial bid, Bill informed me that it would take 2 days for his portion of my fireplace remodel. He had to remove the old wood burning fireplace in my zero clearance home, and install a high efficiency wood burning stove. He was right on the time. He has an efficient team, who knew what they were doing from start to finish. The only issue I had, which was very minor and quickly corrected was he forgot to place weather proofing sealant around the exterior blower vent.

Bill and his two-man crew did a great job of making a clean change from the old fireplace corner to the new fireplace area mid-wall. He was willing to work with a friend of ours who wanted to do all the framing and such except the gas line work. Bill was very helpful when our friend Mike had questions regarding electrical work to the new fireplace. Bill and his crew were friendly but professional, laying down a tarp over the carpet (even though I told them it wasn't necessary as the carpet will be replaced once all the work in that room is done). Because of the surprise inaccessibility of the gas line under the floor of an upstairs bathroom, they had to cut some of the ceiling away to get access to the area of the gas line they wanted to cut. I wasn't charged extra for the work-around. They cleaned up their work space and took the old plumbing with them to dispose of. I was very pleased and impressed with their quick work.

Very good experience - Bill Breese is very knowledgeable regarding this product and has a lot of experience installing these types of stoves. He went above and beyond what I expected - even spray painting the scratched flue pipe that I had brought from my previous residence so it looked new.
