The designer gave minimal effort. Sadly, I trusted her professional opinion and ended up with shades that did not match. I had to replace at considerable expense.

The estimator and the installer showed up exactly on time, which is important to me since I do not live there and parking is challenging in that area.
The installer encountered some unexpected challenges and he navigated them with good humor and aplomb.

Bolliger does in-store blind repairs.  I've used their tech, Donna, three times to repair four of our "workhorse", south- and west-facing honeycomb blinds.  The blinds were original in 1997, but no matter--as long as Donna can reuse the parts, she can repair the blinds.  No pressure to buy all new blinds, and no pressure to repair all the blinds until they "fail", one by one.  Great service and highly recommended!

Was having problem with window blind.  Called store and within 48 hours, blind was picked up, repaired, delivered back and

I have qualified the "would we use again" because I am not sure we would. It started off ok. The estimator arrived on time and took the measurements of our window. We were having the entire interior of our house painted so we made arrangements for them to install the shade and re-install all of our other shades at the same time for which we knew there would be an additional charge.
When the installer attempted to install the new shade he discovered that it would not fit as the estimator had only measured the top and bottom widths of the window and failed to include any incremental measurements which is typically done to take into account non-plum windows. (when we had our original coverings measured for the estimator took four width measurements on each window).
The installer was very professional and courteous and if he'd been the one we were dealing with throughout the whole transaction I would give them a higher rating. He went ahead and installed the rest of our blinds and said there would be no charge due to the inconvenience of the new blind not fitting. He took the ill fitting blind with him as he said they could cut a bit off of each side either at their shop or another one in the area that they use for this kind of adjustment. He said the estimator would call us when it was ready; we waited almost 3 weeks and when we didn't hear back, called them. The estimator was not very helpful and reminded us that our other blinds had been installed at no charge when we asked if there would be any discount due to the measurements and length of time this all took; I would not work with her again but would certainly work with the fellow that did the install, he was great.

They performed the necessary measurements and assisted with decisions regarding shade design. Installation was completed with efficiency including operational instructions provided by the installer.  I continue to be very pleased with the shades and they continue to operate without problems.

I would have liked a little more guidance in choosing but got really lovely products that still work well.
I don't renember how much I paid, I'd never had custom blinds before, but they were comparable.

Steve, the owner of the company, picked up the 6 Hunter Douglas blinds on December 5.  Due to the size of these blinds, I decided that I did not want to handle them by myself so I paid extra to have them picked up and reinstalled after they had been repaired.  One of the blinds did not work at all;  it and the others also needed to be restrung in addition to some other issues I had with them.  Steve took the blinds back to the shop and called me the next day to give me an update.  He told me that he was still working with Hunter Douglas to see if they would cover the glide mechanisms under warrantee.  After a few phone calls on his part, Steve was able to confirm that Hunter Douglas would cover the cost of the glide mechanisms.  This saved me $65 per glide mechanism.  When Steve delivered the blinds, two of them were a little short so he took them back to to the shop and delivered and and installed them the following Saturday morning.  Steve was very professional and also gave me some advice about blinds if I decide to replace the ones I currently  have.  He was very good about communicating with me so I was aware of the status of the blinds throughout the repair.  As it turns out, the blinds are a little difficult to take down and reinstall so I was glad I had paid Steve the extra money to do this.  I would definitely recommend Bolliger Window.

I worked with Wendy Vaughn who was very knowledgeable and professional. I was searching for some traditional canvas shades to suit our Craftsman home and found exactly what I needed at Bolliger, including the eclectic shade pulls that were a particular feature I wanted to include.

Steve was very easy to work with and kept us informed of the status of our orders. There was a delay, but we didn't have to call him, he called us. Additionally, the manufacturer sent the wrong valances, but Bolliger's installed what they had so we at least had coverings and then came back out and changed them. The reason we give Steve and Bolliger's an "A" with a strong recommendation is simple. Problems happen, not everything goes right or according to plan, but it is HOW this company handled the issues and treated us that puts them at the top of our referral list. Steve was prompt and courteous from the beginning, he called us to tell us about the delay, if we had questions, our calls were returned in a reasonable time frame, when we alerted Steve that the valances were wrong, he wasn't defensive or rude or blamed us, HE SIMPLY listened and checked things over and made things right with us! His installer, John, was wonderful to work with. He was at our house probably 4 different times and on one occasion, he was running late because of an earlier job. He called as soon as he realized that the job may run over into our time and he offered to come back at ANYTIME that was convenient for us if we couldn't wait for him! He was respectful of our time and our house; he was careful not to ding the trim or scratch the new hardwoods as he was moving things in and out. We went through a major house remodel and Steve & John are one of the few people we would use again and recommend without reservation. It isn't about the problems, it is how the companies handle them that makes an overall experience.

We visited the Bolliger showroom to look at the Hunter Douglas selection and different styles and features. Wendy came out to the house to measure and suggest colors. Out of the four estimators that I met with, Wendy had the best eye for color. Although Bolliger wasn't the cheapest, they provided excellent service. The cost difference wasn't as great as I expected between Bolliger, online sites and big box stores, and payment terms and the installation experience of Bolliger was superior. After spending weeks deciding between different shades of white, we ordered the shades. Bolliger provided temporary shades although we waited for the window treatments to move in, so we didn't need them. We love these shades! I am lowering and raising them constantly, to conserve energy and to maximize light while protecting floors and upholstery from fading.

Everyone I spoke to at Bolliger was pleasant and professional. I never felt pressured to choose anything - that may have been more expensive, for example - but I felt like Wendy would not have sold me something that she thought was a bad idea. The blinds are beautiful, simple, and just what I had in mind. John, the installer, was very friendly, professional, and punctual. I was also very pleasantly surprised at the price, as I had expected to spend quite a bit more to cover my windows (one is about 5'x4'). Definitely recommended.

Wendy was very professional and easy to work with. She came to measure our windows with one day notice. The installer was able to accommodate our tight time frame. Both were pleasant, on time and knowledgeable.

THE THREE PEOPLE WHO TOOK OUT OUR WINDOWS AND PUT NEW ONES IN WERE REALLY GOOD. THEY WORKED AS FAST AS THEY COULD AND ONCE THEY WERE DONE THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS REALLY WELL.

THE STAFF FROM BOLLINGER WINDOW FASHIONS WERE VERY HELPFUL IN RECOMMENDING THE APPROPRIATE SHADES TO FIT MY NEEDS, AND INSTALLATION WAS PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL.

THE SHOWROOM AT BOLLIGER WAS REALLY HELPFUL WHEN WE WERE PICKING WHAT WE WANTED FOR OUR PORCH. WE HAD A REALLY STRONG SUN SIDE OF THE HOUSE THAT WAS HEATING EVERYTHING ELSE UP INSIDE. THE SUN SHADES THAT WE HAD INSTALLED REALLY DID THE TRICK TO SOLVE THE HEAT PROBLEM.
