 + 0 moreThere were many delays in the work and the costs went up for any equipment that he rented. This was not stated in the estimate - for instance, would be that when he had to remove some existing sod and rented the sod cutter we had to pay for the equipment because he either did not have it or his was broke. He hired outside people to do part of the job that he was to do. Overall after many calls and calls from the person who referred him to us the job was not completed correctly and we have to hire a plumber to come and correct the problems with the irrigation system. This was a bad experience overall. No follow up from the contractor.
Description of Work: Paul was hired to put in an irrigation system, level the ground and sod the entire back yard. He did not have the time to hook the system into the inside plumbing so he hired a plumber. All parties met at my home and Paul explained what he wanted the plumber to do and where to put the hook up to the water line in the house. After installation of the irrigation system, the pipes in the house started to bang and when the system cycled to another station the banging became worse. Paul came out and after listening to the noise and going over the situation told us the line in the house should have been installed to the main coming into the house. He set an appointment for the following Saturday. He has never shown up to do the work and refuses to answer any phone calls. After several months and more phone calls than I would have liked to make, I finally gave up.
