Very well, after years of dangerous shaky ugly stairways they are both now solid. They took the initiative to pour concrete footings where there were none fixed previous repairs that were not properly done.

Jeff and his team did a great job on our project. First, we had a leak in our walls which we were unable to discover the source of. Jeff figured it out and made the repairs. He has great background in the area of leaks - I highly recommend him if that is your issue. He also removed a large portion of EIFS siding and replaced it with cedar. He also replaced a deck and did a large set of interior repairs. He was punctual and met his commitments. His bids were very competitive. The work quality was high. I will definitely use him again in the future.

This is the second time using Blackstone. I found them on Craigslist a while back and Jeff came out and performed work to bring porch sub floor to code. His price was very low and his work was very good. He was a real nice guy and extremely knowledgeable. I decided to replace the front porch altogether, but was afraid to attempt removing the old columns and putting in new support; if I messed up - HUGE deal. I contacted friend-of-a-friend contractor who ball-parked $1000 - $1600 not including materials and I was going to be responsible for doing some work. The language he used made it sound like I was get a favor at this price. He is a real nice guy and I think he sincerely believed he was helping me out. I decided to dig up Jeff's (Blackstone Builders) e-mail and see what he said. His reply to my e-mail spelled out the 10 steps he would take and when I got to his price my jaw dropped - $600. He subsequently came out and told me in person what he was going to do and also gave a me a lot of tips and cautions for when I install the floor the railing and wrap the supports to make them look nice. This guy knows his stuff as well as how to run a business as well as the economy as well as, most importantly, people. Jeff and his co-worker (and obviously a friend) came out as scheduled and knocked out the work in several hours and did a tremendous job. They had fun while they did it and were very professional and polite. They left me 95% of my floor (thank goodness), put in solid, perpindicular beams on new concrete pads and placed all the scrap in a pile in my driveway. Best 600 bucks I have ever spent and not one single complaint. Top notch work from a top notch company.

After attaining a few quotes from other contractors I went to Jeff for his bid. He has done work on my house prior putting in a second bath and rebuilding my front porch, so I was comfortable with his quality, promptness and execution. Jeff came in at a great price and we pulled the trigger. He brought in his window expert and they walked me through what my options were. We also wanted to make sure we picked windows that met the new Federal energy efficient standards and they made sure the windows fit the standard. After 3 weeks during the which the order was processing the windows arrived and with in a week Jeff and his crew installed the windows in 2 days. Overall, an excellent job by Blackstone Builders. We can tell already with heat and cold we are saving money. Jeff and his team come highly recommended.

It went really well. We've had some remodeling done on our homes before and there is always some sort of surprise but this was definitely the smoothest remodel we've ever experienced and that includes our friends and family's experiences. Best part is there was no surprises price wise, we did change a few things that increased the price but we did that ourselves and didn't need too, we chose to.

The job went great from start to finish. Jeff Wacklery kept us informed of everything. We knew what to expect from day to day. The worked flow smoothly and was finished in the projected time span.
