Once our $6,500 grill finally arrived we went in to pick it up at the main location. The secretary working the front desk was condescending and snide about how “will call” pickups are actually at their offsite warehouse 20 minutes down the road. (Which she claimed was less than 5 minutes away). After getting to the poorly labeled offsite warehouse and waiting for 30+ minutes for them to bring our grill out to load they brought it out on a pallet, set it down in front of our vehicle and stared at us waiting for us to load the incredibly heavy grill that was secured to the pallet with banding and shipping screws. After asking for assistance getting it in or to borrow scissors or a screwdriver to remove it from the pallet the forklift driver reluctantly brought out two screwdrivers and stood there offering zero assistance in removing the grill from the pallet to load. After asking for some assistance from the front office the warehouse manager came out and proceeded to get in our face and scream profanities and about how if we didn’t have better attitudes he would “keep the f***ing grill and kick us the f*** out of there”. After spending over $50,000 with this store on appliances in the last 20 years this will be the last purchase we ever make here due to the fact that every single employee we interacted with today was incredibly disrespectful and aggressive/angry.

I purchased a 5 year extended warranty (I have the receipt clearly showing the expiration date), but it turns out they submitted paperwork to the warranty provider for a 3-year warranty and pocketed the difference themselves. Thinking we're all human and this could be an error, I tried to contact BASCO multiple times and I'm getting the complete run-around. My drier is fried after 3.5 years, and BASCO's fraud scheme is now costing me around a thousand dollars. When I purchased the washer/drier, they added a charge on my credit card (not authorized by me) for a dryer duct. Given that I purchased a ductless drier, I disputed this, and I also never received the product. I was told in writing I would receive a refund, but this did of course never happen. When I first purchased the washer/drier, they the installers did not show up on the date we had agreed on, and when they eventually showed up, they were unable to install it. The products they sold me are utter crap, but I have no absolute indication that the horrible reliability is a direct cause of how BASCO handled the products prior to me receiving them. I do not understand how these crooks can stay in business.

Steve Misemer provided detailed information on each as well as help comparing my choices with other models and the reasons for their popularity as well. In addition, the total price of the appliances at BASCO was equal to or more competitive than other stores' prices for the same models.

I purchased a $3100 gas range and hood from Basco about a month ago.
Customer service was highly responsive and courteous without being pushy or obsequious. They also provided a couple of solid referrals for installation of the range and hood. Prices were at RRP (i.e. in line with their competitors).
Delivery was punctual, quick, and professional. Care was taken not to damage floors and door frames, etc. The one caveat is that I was later told by my appliance installer (who they referred and frequently work with) that they should have offered to disconnect and remove my existing electric range.

Shopping at Basco was an excellent experience. I was able to purchase the range and hood I wanted at 75% of the lowest price I could find online or elsewhere. The Salesperson was excellent. They were very responsive and good at keeping in touch. The delivery guys were great, very careful and respectful of our home. I will certainly shop at Basco for further appliance purchases.

So working one-on-one with consumers may not be their strength. That being said, we have had nothing but positive experiences; a couple of highlights. Delivery is always included. Our JennAir fridge was $500 cheaper than any retailer I could find. Our washer/dryer was $200 less, and the ventahood was also about $200 less than what I saw on line. And this was without any special sales, rebates, discounts, etc. Again, they generally just quote contractor pricing so there are no games and I've always found them to have the best prices by far.

We are having problems with our refrigerator. They told us a specific model would work in our kitchen but it did not. They did not help me find a model that did work. They ended up giving us the money back for the refrigerator.

Working with BASCO was a real pleasure. I did not experience the usual dread I have dealing with sales-people (at other places). Derek (salesperson) was very helpful, very friendly, and VERY knowledgeable. He answered my myriad of questions with demonstrated depth of knowledge, which was important because the success of the remodel hinged on being able to fit a 30-inch oven and wide refrigerator in a tight space. He allowed me to make several visits to check measurements on floor models; ask questions; explore options; and help me get confident that we could fit both items into that space and meet manufacturer's specs and local codes. In summary, the service was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable. Also, the appliances showed up on time and were in good condition.

These guys are the best for your appliance needs. Much cheaper than standard. You get contractor prices and they have all of the high end goods. No better place to buy.
