Overall, very well. Tony is very enthusiastic--obviously loves what he does--and gave me some good ideas. He also was good about pointing out when certain ideas might put me over budget.

It was great. Tony has a lot of enthusiasm about his work and some really good ideas. He and Louis were in my home daily for a couple months and were easy to work with. They were professional, timely, friendly, clear about what they were doing and what needed to be done. If there was any change that needed to be made, he was very clear about why and the price change if applicable.

I was delighted from day one. He gave me a general price range that matched mine, so he bid the job and we had a deal. He was supposed to start in April but both of us had things come up which put us back to May. I'm retired, so timing wasn't too important to me, plus it wasn't something like a bathroom or kitchen where it's important to have things done in a timely fashion. Tony is an extremely friendly, relaxed guy and easy to work with. He was late a few times in the beginning (he and his wife have 3 children under the age of 3) which drives me crazy, but once I asked him to call if he was going to be late, he did. AND he was rarely late after that. He's hard working, very skilled at woodworking and offering ideas that I hadn't thought about. His prices seem slightly higher than others, but his work is excellent. You get what you pay for.

Tony's bid was $100 more than Classique Floors offered me, but I had worked with him before and went with Tony. I was glad I did, because it turned out Classique Floors was planning on using bamboo laminate, and Tony was able to find solid bamboo flooring at Costco for about the same price. He brought it over in advance because it is supposed to be at room temperature for 72 hours before installation. Then his team came over on Saturday and put it all in in one day. They had to wait until later to do the transition piece because they needed to order it.

When we first met Tony, we really liked him. He had some great ideas about our kitchen. We then had a few challenges getting ahold of him, but decided to hire him anyway. He was very friendly and even met us at Home Depot to help us finalize the details on our cabinet order, including ordering some extra stuff and discussing the design with the HD designer. After the project started, communication with Tony was much easier. He returns calls quickly and even text messages info throughout the day. Tony?s crew did a pretty good job overall. The cabinet installation is excellent, as is the tile flooring and backsplash. There were a few issues w/ the install of the backsplash, and some drywall work, but Tony was happy to see that these issues were corrected. Towards the end of the project, he had some staffing issues, and this resulted in our project taking longer to complete than we would have liked, but ultimately, we got what we wanted. A gorgeous kitchen!

It was not a very good experience. He was very unprofessional and dishonest. They told us it would take about 6 weeks and it ended up taking 5 months. He tried to cut corners. It took a lot on our part to make sure the work was done well.

Tony is casual yet professional and very creative. He comes up with great ideas to expand on ideas and plans you give him for any project. Tony listens to ideas and gives input. I found him to be a valuable resource. Be careful though! Changes cost extra but in the long run I found most of Tony's suggestions to be exactly what I wanted but didn't know at the time. ; ) Lewis, who works with Tony, is amazing! Both of these men are hard workers, putting in long hours, and meeting most deadlines. There were a few mishaps along the way, Tony addressed these in a timely manner and fixed the problems.

The end results I have a beautiful kitchen with cherry cabinets and granite counter tops, and Brazilian cherry hardwood floors all new stainless appliances two solar sky light tubes. I love my kitchen; it's like being in a new house. All my friends think it should be in a magazine! I have pictures for anyone to see.

The job started off very well. Tony was very good at returning calls and the job made continual progress. He told me the job was going to past the time specified in the contract and I did not mind because progress was steady. 75% through the job his carpenter quit and thats when the job slowed to a crawl. The job is now 6 months past the due date and it is still not finished. It is almost 90% complete. Tony has stopped returning calls and has not called me since I emailed him a ultimatium which was to the finish the job in 3 weeks or be fired. He choose the latter. He failed to call me once in this period of time. I have paid in excess of 20,000 dollars.

Although we strive to assist our client's needs, asking us to work until 10pm to accomodate a bachelor's lifestyle is not within our realm of possibility. This was my first remodel experience and I am very satisfied with Tony as my contractor. I received excellent value and workmanship for my money. I never had any trouble contacting him, he always returned my calls promptly, and kept me informed on his plan to complete the work. Tony was helpful in talking over ideas and he was respectful of my budget. Tony and his workers cleaned up each day and left the work area neat and clean. I had two bathrooms that hadn t been updated in years and I got three bids and his was in the middle. The final cost was not substantially higher than the original bid but that was due to a number of change orders I had him do and the need to repair water damage in one of the bathrooms. My original contract with him was for the two bathrooms but I was so pleased with the work that I had him take down two half walls separating the kitchen from the living and dining rooms. Once again I got excellent work for a great value. I definitely recommend Tony.

I rated Tony a B on price because he did not provide the cheapest estimate on the work. I wanted to consider replacing my bathtub, if I could find a new one that was larger than my old one, and the cheapest bidder left it in my hands to look for a new model of bathtub, but Tony jumped right in and helped me look around. Tony and his men came in on schedule and performed the work. They were also patient with my 3-year-old when she asked questions about what they were doing. Tony had allowed a little extra cost on his bid in case the wall studs were damaged. They weren't, so he didn't charge extra for fixing the toilet, which was not in the original contract. Afterwords, Tony noticed that my old shower curtain wouldn't go back in, because the place where it attached was now covered with tile. He dropped off a new curtain rod for me. Later, I called him when I noticed a smear of paint on a tile and also a bucket the workmen had left sitting around. He came over and cleaned up both.

We did not have a good idea when we started and Anthony was very helpful in offering ideas and suggestions. The previous owner had walled over an outside window in the shower and we brought that back as a solid glass block window. Anthony even found a space between walls that we turned into a closet and made alcoves in the tile shower for shampoo etc! These were both extras that we did not expect!

Tony's team worked meticulously on our cabinet installation. They were very precise on ensuring that their work was level (because my floor was not after the house settling). They did some custom work on the desk section, which looks wonderful. They were all personable. We are very pleased with our new kitchen!

Anthony Adams Contracting did a great job for us. He helped me to act as my own general contractor and gave advice and guidance throughout the project. He was flexible, communicative and made our priorities his own. The quality of his team's craftsmanship is excellent. Anthony was willing to discuss different material types in order to achieve the period look we wanted, without spending a fortune. We had a written contract and met often for updates on his team's progress. His crew arrived on-time and were courteous. I appreciated their effort to keep the dust and debris to a minimum - although there is no escaping the dust. We expanded our original kitchen remodel to include a full bathroom remodel and installed period-style moulding throughout our home. Tony's work experience proved very valuable. He frequently inspected each phase of the remodel and pointed out areas of concern to him - which I would not have noticed on my own. Great job.
