Great!! He showed up on time, did high quality work and stuck to his bid. Andrew arrived promptly at his appointed time to review the stairwells prior to his bid. He met with me and we walked the job. After we met, he spent about an hour or more measuring and taking notes. Our custodian told me he returned to the job site to doublecheck some measurements before he submitted his bid. This job was on one of the oldest churches in Portland, which means crumbling plaster, VERY high ceilings (scaffolding) and lots of visitors to the church for lectures and of course Sunday services. After choosing Andrew for our contractor, we met with him to go over the work schedule. As our church gets used a lot within the community for many large lectures we had to squeeze in the work. He used common sense (sometimes a commodity hard to find anymore) and worked with us to get the job done by our deadline. His bid was exactly what he charged us...even though he did more work than he had to (painting trim that looked bad). Andrew and his crew couldn't have been nicer, tidier, more gracious, or any easier to work with. We will use his services again and recommend him highly to our congregation as well as our community.

I asked for and received three estimates from Angie's List contractors. Andrew Lohr was "Johnny on the spot" with their estimate. Although I chose someone else, I was impressed with their promptness and professionalism.

Andrew and his assistant were wonderful in every way. Andrew was very professional, on time, and meticulous with his work. We also felt he was just a genuine, honest person & we were very comfortable having him and Renee in and around our home. And he never even flinched when we kept requesting more & more & more color samples...The work was completed on time, and done well. He didn't leave the job until we were both satisfied with the result. We're extremely happy with his work and would recommend him. We're hiring him to come back and paint our new gutters when we mange to have them installed.

Throughout the entire job, Andrew was helpful, on time, and accurate. It was great to have someone so responsive and attentive doing work on our home. I will certainly use him again on the outside of our house!

Andrew was very helpful. He came the very next day to prepare the bid, a very rare thing these days. He was helpful in selecting paint. His work is equal to the best I have had done with several other contractors in the last ten years. Nice to have the same person who bid the job actually do the painting!!!
