Just wanted to leave a FABULOUS review for All Around Arbor Tree Care Service. Kyle and his team did an amazing job removing half a tree that was going to fall over on the house if it wasn't removed and was coming out of a custom painted wood deck. So they used pulleys to lower the wood so that it wouldn't damage the desk, protected the deck with plywood and tarps as well just like a "white glove" treatment. They protected the entire deck perfectly. But what is truly amazing is they left not only my entire custom deck "CLEANER than before they arrived", but also my walkway, driveway, AND the street in front of my house CLEANER than before they arrived. The experience from start to finish, including them wearing masks as well due to Covid was amazing too. What a fabulous company this is where the employees truly represent the brand of the company "Portland's Finest Tree Service". In a word... "WOW"! I highly recommend them for all your tree needs, you will be amazed. Thank you so much to Kyle and his team.

I can't say enough about the awesome job All Around Arbor did. Most other contractors balked at the location of where the stumps were. In fact, one general contractor tried quoting us the outrageous price of $2300. Others were much more reasonable, but we went went All Around because they had a smaller grinder unit. We had 4 large stumps located in a 30 inch space between our garage and fence. I removed the fence to add some extra space, but only about a foot more because my neighbors garage is up against the property line. The spent about 3 hours grinding away, even discovering some chainlink fence growing into a stump which was also removed. The price was reasonable and the customer service top notch. Amazing work!!!

These guys were great from start to finish. The owner & his crew were prompt, professional, and courteous. The bid was reasonable for the large amount of work done, compared to other companies. I felt like I got an honest appraisal and recommendations, based on having a knowledgeable background on how to properly prune and shape the trees, plants & shrubs in my yard. They followed safety protocols, cleaned up the site at the end of the job and did a walk-thru with me before & after getting started. They did a great job shaping a shrub & camellias. I will definitely use this company every year. I would have given a A rating in responsiveness but they are so busy, I had to wait several weeks for them to come do the work. So the B-rating is only because they obviously do such good work, they're always booked.

Great experience. Chris, an arborist, did the estimation and provided excellent guidance. Attentive to my needs and clear quote. Crew was timely, professional conduct, quality pruning. Lead on the site was great: good listener, good recommendations, fulfilled all requirements. Work site was well cleaned. Definitely bring them back for next job.

First of all, All Around Arbor has been coming to my house to give medical attention to a pink dogwood for this the third year. My tree was starting to loose leaves and beginning to die. Michael, the owner did his magic and my tree is starting to look beautiful again. This year when I called Wendy, Michaels wife set up a time when he could come out. I needed a couple other trees pruned back so Michael set up a time for his crew to come out. These guys were very professional and the work done was perfect. The crew left my yard in excellent shape all the leaves and branches were picked up including picking up leaves that fell into my neighbors yard and now my yard looks beautiful again. Yes, I will use All Around Arbor again because they care about there customers needs and doing a professional job.

Went well, good job, happy with results, clean up excellent, workers easy to talk with and even did a few minor extra things. Trees look great without over thinning.

The man we with spoke with (presumably the owner) quoted us a price of $1200 and said he'd be able to do the job the next day. We were thrilled with the quote and we agreed , especially since we'd received the same $1200 quote from another company the year before to remove the same tree All Around Arbor came the next day, as stated, took the limb off the roof, as stated, and LEFT THE TREE STANDING!!!! When we called to protest that they hadn't taken down the tree, they said that wasn't in the contract. There was no written contract; only a verbal agreement over the phone. They charged $1200 to remove a limb from the roof. So, we're stuck with a broken and dying and dangerous tree and we're out $1200. We were in a rush for safety. Should you be interested in calling them, we suggest that you get a complete and detailed WRITTEN bid from these folks before they do the work and then follow up and make certain they've completed the work before you pay them.

VERY professional - these guys are pros. Took down a giant 100 foot tree within 3 feet of my house like it was nothing. Also, thinned out 9 other 100+ foot trees. Their experience really showed and they had totally safe practices. They are amazing - WILL hire again!

All Around Arbor was referred by a friend who was quite happy with the work they did for him and told us he shopped around extensively and they had the best prices. For our needs we had Mike (a certified arborist) from All Around Arbor and another company out to both assess the health of all of our trees and give us a bid on tree trimming on our large maple and oak trees, which included the grinding of a large row of laurel stumps. Their perspectives were similar, but the other company charged a lot more, and also had a much more aggressive philosophy on trimming, especially on our oak tree. Mike had a very articulate response when we asked him about cutting that much off, that it could endanger the entire tree to take so much off, and was unnecessary. We were very impressed with All Around Arbor's pricing, professionalism, and knowledge, so we decided to go with them and were quite pleased from start to finish. They came out at the appointed time and brought a large crew. They were very respectful of other plants in our yard. They did a fabulous job; we have no complaints. We will definitely hire them again in the future for any tree needs that we may have.

The crew showed up an hour late but did call me to let me know they were running behind. The job foreman was pleasant and very professional. He updated me on the job throughout the time they spent on my property. He came with a crew of about 4 other guys who were extremely respectful and very hard workers. They were on my property about 3 hours and I never saw anybody take a break! It was no easy task they had to make my laurel hedge look respectable. The tops were touching the power lines and the width of the hedge was about 10' wide or more. Plus I live on a very busy street and they had to deal with lots of car traffic. My main goal for the project was to end up with a hedge that looked great and preserved my privacy. I am very pleased with the outcome and they way the crew conducted themselves. They only negative thing that happened is that one of my rose bushes was damaged. It was from a falling limb. No a big deal, accidents happen and the rose bush will grow back. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

The crew was very skilled, professional, experienced, and efficient. They were very polite and respectful of my property and my trees. The entire process was beautifully orchestrated and the project was completed seamlessly. The cleanup was very thorough. I so appreciated how knowledgeable Mike was, as well as how responsive he was to my questions and needs prior to and during the project. The price was extremely reasonable considering the complexity of the project. I would highly recommend All Around Arbor.

They were excellent. They showed up timely, got the job done quickly and safely, and did a nice job cleaning up. We've used them before for smaller jobs as well but this time there was a lift and crane involved due to the location of the tree in relation to the house. We will continue to use them in the future as we are always happy with their work.

The crew was professional and friendly. I liked how they were conscientious about my neighbor's shed and yard. I will certainly recommend them and would use them again. The price was half that of another company.

First I have to express my appreciation to Mike for the outstanding manner in which he's handled this and the one other job he's done for me. As with last time, he did what he said he would do exactly when he said he would do it. And he called me immediately after his crew reported to job finished to gauge my level of satisfaction. It's hard not to like a guy like that. And simple job or not, I have to commend the crew on a thorough abd competent job. The trees look great and the slope where they could have dumped a bunch of detritus is cleaner that I dared hope. I am one happy customer.

Mike and his crew are great. Mike was very thorough on his estimate and what was to be done. He has an excellent experienced crew that work very well together. It was amazing to watch them take out a fir about 130 feet high. They cleaned the area after each day and left my yard very clean when completed. I would highly advise them.

All Around Arbor gave me the best price for the job based on 3 other quotes. They did not harm my landscaping, came back later the same day to find out if I wanted any more trimming done and did an excellent job of cleaning up. I highly recommend them.

Mike Jolliff came to my home and walked the project area with me. He gave great advice and displayed expert knowledge regarding trees and property line issues. He provided an estimate that day on site. He wasvery responsive in scheduling a date for service.The crew arrived right on time to perform the work. Within two hours, they had removed the large cherry tree. They were extremely careful with the large branch removal, which they chipped right out front. They cleared everything away and left the firewood for us. The clean up was thorough and you wouldn't have known a major removal project had taken place in the yard or on the street front that day. Beautiful results. The crew was very polite and professional.

This was a very well done job. Mike and his team did what he said they would do when he said they would do it, and for a fair price. In fact, I'd say they did a bit more than expected.
I'm going to spend almost no time on the fruit trees or flowering plum. Though they were done very well, they were pretty routine tasks.
The willow was a bit more than routine, and was perfectly done. The last time we had that done, the crew (some other company) dropped a large branch on the patio rocks below, crakcing one. These guys were much more careful than that, and I thought they did a really nice job of picking the right branches to clear.
The cottonwoods were the monster of this assignment. Four large trees, positioned at the top of a steep slope (actually ON the slope, not above it). I needed these to come down completely, but have none of the debris the end up at the bottom. In fact, I wanted all the wood either chipped or stacked next to a nearby fence. They accomplished this by taking the trees down a slice at a time, making sure each slice feel above the slope. They chipped the smaller pieces and wrestled the large, heavy pieces over to the fence. I have to say, I don't think they much liked having to do that. That was heavy, ugly work. But I never heard a word of complaint.
I have read that one should never deal with any arborist who would top a tree. That's hooey. I have several trees that are so positioned as to block my satellite signal. So I have three choices. Switch to cable, take the trees down, or top them. The first two are not options (How is taking a tree down better for it than topping it?), so any tree service company that refuses, on principle, to top trees can't work with me. Well, anyway, these are difficult to top. They're on a steep slope and they are not so large as to be real sturdy. Takes some courage to do that job, which was done perfectly.
To tell you the truth, besides the work on the cottonwoods, I was impressed most with the clean up job. We've never had tree people do as thorough a job as that. There wasn't a speck of sawdust left anywhere on the property. That stone patio under the willow actually looks like someone got down there and scrubbed each individual rock. Now that's conscientious!
