DEBRA G.
Jan 2008
Mr. Bowser advertised in Portland area phone books as an "engineer" who inspects homes. He also has a website. A check of his license with OSBEELS reflects the fact that he is a mechanical and environmental engineer. He is not licensed as a structural engineer. Moreover, per OSBEELS he is retired and license 07649PE exp. 9/30/07 just prior to his advertising on Angie's List (www.osbeels.org) I have numerous reports confirming defects, as well as invoices for approximately $20,000.00 in repairs needed to bring the home up to engineering and code standards after he said everything was okay. Evidence is available upon request. Mr. Bowser was unethical in his advertising and in his evaluation. It appears he still is, and in fact, I am appalled to see him on this list.
