Active Roof & Gutter Protection

I would not use these provider again in the future.

This company is a SCAM. I paid by check $740.00  up front for a one year contract to clean my one level home gutters and roof. I was promised four quarterly gutter cleanings and a roof spray on moss killer treatment to be followed three months later by a low power pressure washer cleaning of the entire roof.
Red Flag: Matt called four times to offer this 'deal'; the last time he said the rate was going up so I agreed.
What I received: A 'field service manager' and one (or two?) helper technicians showed up in a black beat up pickup truck with no service logo ID on April 6, 2013. They sprayed my roof with an unknown solution in about an hour. NO cleaning was done of the gutters (or roof...just spraying). I signed a 'contract' and paid by check $740.00.They were to return within 3 months to (low pressure) wash the dead moss off roof. The check was endorsed "Deposited to the Account of: Within Named Payee/Lack of Endorsement Guaranteed Wells Fargo Bank". The moss treatment seemed to work for two months; some moss has grown back when it rains (it has been dry).
Matt answered two calls prior to 8/19/13 and promised prompt service. All subsequent calls to his phone number (503-343-9501) and to the company website phone number (503-492-9995) have not been returned.
John Moore is the owner who filed for an Oregon business license (paid $50 for registration 10/8/2012-2014).
On August 19, 2013 I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Oregon/Washington.

When they contacted me, they sounded very local. When the work was completed everything was fine and the price was fine. However, the moss treatment was not done as they said it would be. They guy who did the work was clearly disconnected from the company which was not satisfying.
