ACTION TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS

Action Technology installed and maintained our electronic security panel and refilled our fire extinguishers since, I believe, our 1910 building was renovated into a four unit condominium in the 1970s. This review is not about its work, which has been ok, but of its so-called customer service. Last August, on a routine annual call, one of the technicians left an extraordinary trail of footprints leading to the five extinguishers on three floors and to the panel, and to my unit.
Steven Barry, presumably the owner, although his business card doesn't say what his title is, refused to acknowledge at first the stains were caused by his employees. Immediately, he blamed a few other stains in the basement which were obviously  from another era. Then it was a Cherry Tree's cherries someone else tracked in. Next--and this was best in terms of entertainment--the suspect was rhododendrons, So he picks one from outside, kneels on our carpet and starts rubbing it in. When no stain shows up, he licks it and gives it another rub down. Really. Could I make this up. 
 Our building gets very little outside traffic. Barry is a too clever by half and wannabee Perry Mason to let into your business or home. Customer service is just not his thing, I don't think he even knows what it means. 
When he left he said he would send someone over to clean up. That was in early August. Hey Steven, if you're reading this, long time no see. 
And PS, the stains disappeared after one steam cleaning paid for by our HOA..

They are very polite. Our sales rep Pat was very professional, knowledgable and polite. They made me feel confident that they knew what they were doing. They are very punctual and you get a call within about 2 minutes and they will tell you what window or door was opened.

Very good. Owners and service manager and office staff very kind, helpful, knowledgeable. Return phone calls when they say they will.

ACTION TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS CAME TO OUR HOME IN ONLY 2 DAYS AFTER OUR CALL TO INSTALL OUR SECURITY SYSTEM. WE WERE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY ADULT SON BREAKING INTO OUR HOME. THEY SET UP A SYSTEM THAT HAS BEEN VERY EFFECTIVE.
