Both my neighbor and I have used Ace Roofing in the past--they did a great job at a good price. While Ace worked at my neighbors in June/July 2013, my neighbor asked them to give an estimate to replace my single car flat roofed garage roof. I have to say It took me nearly a month to contact them, but I have left two messages in the past 3 weeks and have had no reply. I also asked for a message if it is the case they won't have time for me, so I can move on. I really would like Ace to do my work, as they have been long in the business and understand old structures.

We needed a new roof. Got Jim Leighton of Ace Roofing from a recommendation from a friend. We had received a total of three bids from companies including Ace. The others were double the cost of Ace Roofing. We took the recommendation of our friend and hired Ace Roofing to do the work.
Jim Leighton, the owner and a helper showed up and started the job. It was obvious from the start that Jim was an outstanding roofer who knew exactly what needed to be done and did the job right. He only pulls off the old roofing to the point that each day he finishes the part uncovered.
Jim was a joy to work with. I asked him to replace a bit of siding on the house at the roof line of two parts of the house as he did the roofing work, which he did perfectly.
We thought we had a roof leak and Jim came immediately. It turned out it was not the roof, but a chimney that had lost some of its mortar. Jim recommended Paramount Masonry, another single individual who did masonry work. The mortar replacement was another job that was done perfectly.
Jim of Ace Roofing is a good example of what is right in America. He cares, is responsive, does excellent work and the price was right. What more can we say

I knew of this company because our property management had used them before. I can say that the cost of the repair was far lower than the other estimates that I had received. I was flabbergasted when he gave me this low bill.I'm not sure if this is what he usually charges, but this was my cost. I had called him and asked him to do this small job. He arrived on time and did the work right away. We have a lot of rain in Portland, so I can say that the repair has held up since. It was easy to use this company. I am very glad to have found this reliable company.
