It was horrible, a nightmare. I talked to Heather over the phone, she was so nice. After talking to numerous people from Angie's list I wanted to go through her. She said they had all these carpet and hardwood protectors, door protectors, baseboard protectors, how they wrapped and protected your stuff and how professional they were etc. I felt so safe and secure. My husband said you sure, on other sites she doesn't have as strong reviews, people complain about actually having to move things themselves and other stuff. No way she so honest and nice! I go through with her each piece of furniture that is being moved. She gives me a oh you only need 2 guys will take about 5 hours. OK. I'm worried about the trip charge, oh shouldn't be in traffic even more than 1/2 hour to get there no problem. OK. Now I've told her and described every piece of furniture plus how a large TV needs to come down from a wall, a bed needs to be disassembled. Other than that nothing really needs to be disassembled other than as needed for moving. No problem we have all the tools. Right before the move we decide not to bring 2 huge couches (both over 7 foot long and the heaviest of the stuff being moved) and call her up and ask if OK to swap out with boxes of 12 books (pre packed) a BBQ, small small fire pit, a work out bench and a pull up bar (all disassembled and 1 person movable) with a couple of loose weights in an A frame. No problem. Day of move they are supposed to be here from 10 am to 10:30 depending on traffic. I get a phone call at 10:20 saying they are lost and not sure where my house is. 2 guys show up, I show them the stuff they are to move. They look at the mattress and say that he doesn't think the guy he has with him can lift the stuff and they need their buddy and need to go pick him up. Is this a joke? The 2nd guy is pretty wiry the mattress is brand new, I did tell her on the phone it's a spring mattress brand new and heavier then normal mattress and it's a Queen size. Nope he can't do it with the guy he has with him he needs to go get the other guy but they won't charge me for the go pick him up fee. Lie #1. Final bill start of service 9:15 am, remember I got a call at 10:20 am asking where my house was, Heather swears they were at my house working at 10:15, they didn't show up with the 3rd guy at my house till 11:15 am. They put up 2 door frame padding, one in the garage door one in the front door nothing anywhere else. NOTHING. The little one smashed in every wall and door. The other two actually could move things and moved everything without smashing into things. But they were definitely not professionals nor have any clue what they where doing. They took my solid cherry table (really heavy) and moved it without removing 2 screws in each leg and then put all it's weight on the legs and what do you know, it snapped the legs right off cause it's flipping SOLID WOOD and heavy. They were so in shock they came blubbering to me that it never happened before and didn't know what to do. I took pictures and told them to call their boss. I watched one of them screw around not sure what he was doing goofing off on the dollies with wheels and he flew off the truck and landed on his back off the truck in the dirt. I watched them go let's take all the securing locks off the A tower of the weights and rearrange the weights and see if we can lift them. Then promptly drop them all on the floor. They made comments on the last customer they had about how all her stuff was precious and how she was so after them to be cautious and not break anything. They made comments of let's see how much we can put on the lift to se how much it can lift before it breaks.... I felt like I went to a college and hired some guys off campus, they were sweet but very unprofessional and not knowledgeable nor efficient. They couldn't get the TV down off the wall with all the mounting. The got the TV down but not the mounting because they didn't have a socket wrench. I watched them try with pliers to undo a nut and slip smash into the wall and repeat. I'm said it's ok if you don't have the right tool we'll come back and do it later ourselves before you strip the nut or damage the wall. I watched them bring downstairs the dresser, I had to rush up and grab a painting off the wall they decided to turn up against and where about to destroy. Same piece of furniture they then asked me to throw a rug or something under cause they had to drop it and where going to scratch up the wood floor underneath. You have to follow them around and grab things, move things they didn't notice, or even think fast and grab a towel rug something to throw under your furniture because they are loosing the grip and need to place it down but guess what no freaking padding is down like promised. You do have to give them advice of how to move things, that exploded my head, I couple times said aren't you the professional I'm paying for, shouldn't you know if you should pack this with the drawers in for structure or not? They decided they were hungry as we were packing to go to the other house and they needed to stop somewhere and get food before going to the house. I said I'll have pizza delivered home, I didn't know how long they'd be since you pay for meals breaks too and did not want to have them out of my sight at this point. We get to the new home. New home has brand new paint, brand new carpet, real hardwood floors ask for the protection stuff again was promised. Get 1 door cover and one runner and get blown off. The runner doesn't even cover one full hallway. They put scratches on my hardwood, smacks on the wall and proceeded to break the a piece of the bed by over tightening a screw. Mind you to put in 8 screws for the bed it took them 45 minutes and cracked one of the support beams due to the overtightening. Still was able to put bed together and works so let that slide with all the other things was among the minor things. They proceeded to drag the BBQ across fresh laid bark dusk and make a great trench trough it and just threw the pit in the back and the cover beside it, didn't even cover them back up. Super nice guys, utterly unprofessional. If you have cheap stuff they are fine, if you have a real house and real furniture don't hire them. You do have to help them move stuff, you do have to tell them wow that's real wood you have to take the legs off, that's a real wood dresser you need to take the drawers out or you can't lift it, those are weights, please leave the securing locks on and place it on the dolly and on the lift ramp etc.... I talked to Heather afterwards told her I was livid with what happened. Showed her pictures of the damages. She fixed the table, ignored everything else. Never got back to me. I've uploaded a couple of the pictures from new home alone, didn't bother with scratches and dings at old house. Read her reviews on Yelp and other places you'll see what I mean.
