Moises and his brother lied about being an electrician after Moises arrived to fix one of the sinks in the bathroom that I had not been using, it was not leaking because I did not use it. I told Moisen I had hired an electrician , from Angi ,to put cable and electrical outlet behind tv and I hired a tv hanger, from Angieâ s . Moisen said he was an electrician and he would hang the tv , I agreed, thinking he was qualified , he was not, he lied. He did not fix the sink but told me I needed a new faucet and handed me a piece of metal tubing. His brother ,David, showed up and hung the replacement under counter fluorescent light that I had purchased. Both Moisen and David left to find a simple tv hanger because the two I had were missing a part. They proceeded to hang my tv next to the ceiling , I was shocked they hadnâ t put the cable and electrical on the wall first, but I thought perhaps they wanted to figure out where the TV goes first. I told them it was too high and they hung too high two more times, until I personally measured and marked where the screws go. David asked where the electrical cord go and I replied â in the wallâ . David asked for the money that was due that day for completion of the tasks they had completed and said the amount was $650 and brought out his credit card machine and swiped my debit card. No electrical nor cable were put behind the tv , no sink fixed, but I payed for all work and tv hanger. I asked David for an itemized receipt and gave him pen and paper. He left the folded paper on my sofa and they both left. There was nothing written on the paper ! I messaged David several times asking for an itemized receipt, to no avail. The following day I again messaged David , with no reply. The next day they both showed up, I thought to put cable and electrical behind the tv , but David said I needed an electrician and I replied â but you are an electrician â . David said â We never said we were electricians â which is a lie. They had me send the real election , from Angi, that was at my place, away. It was at this time I realized they had scammed me and they realized I knew it. I was afraid of them now , here I was, alone, with two scam artists , Iâ m older and I was thinking they might hurt me. I picked up my bejeweled pepper spray and told them to go out of the front door. David said they would if I gave them each $20. I was shaking and marched them to my door and out to my porch with front door still open. I grabbed $30 for each from my bedroom and escorted them to the building , unlocking the next door so they could leave my gated community. I was so shaken , being held hostage for $60. They did no work after receiving the $650 the first day . However this crooked business is repeatedly billing me for $980 more! I am going to report them to the BBB
