Description of Work: My son got a gig as a singer on a cruise ship. We took the blazer he bought from the departing singer to a cleaner near our house to be cleaned and pressed. They totally screwed up the pressing of the lapel. They said it was not good, but was the best they could do. I then took the blazer to 45th Ave. Cleaners to see if they could fix the lapel. Wow! They did a fantastic job! Since then, I have taken all of our family's dry cleaning to 45th Ave. I have always been extremely satisfied with everything.

Description of Work: I go to 45th avenue cleaners for ALL my cleaning. Brian is FABULOUS--super-careful, super professional--this is the ONLY dry cleaner I trust.....so..dry cleaning includes slacks, sweaters, best business clothes, mending-- Re price: I wish the price were lower, but it is worth it for the quality of the work--I don't have to wonder whether or not my clothes will be ready on time and hung the way I prefer.

 + -1 moreEverything was excellent. I like this cleaners because they are very conscientious about doing things in an environmentally sound way including the way they outfit the shop. They're near my house and the owner has always been friendly and very willing to discuss any cleaning problems or the processes he uses. The price is a little high, but I like their dedication and concern for the environmental aspects of a business that can be damaging to the environment and to the people who work with the chemicals involved.
Description of Work: Had two sport coats (one wool, one camels hair), one wool blanket, and a couple of small hats cleaned.

Description of Work: I have used this cleaner for years. They do not use toxic chemicals so clothes don't come back stinky. They are always helpful and do a great job with everything I bring to them, from formal clothes to my girls' equestrian jackets. I used to live close to this company and have since moved away and drive the extra distance to bring my clothes to them.

 + -1 moreEverything came back looking great, on time, at the quoted price. They handled a number of different fabrics, leathers and wools that had been moth-infested. In the past they have also cleaned one-of-a-kind hand-dyed material, and other difficult to clean articles and have done a great job. I like how they're environmentally friendly and don't use all those horrendous solvents that conventional cleaners use. Everything I've had cleaned there has come out great.
Description of Work: Dry cleaned lots of sweaters, coats and clothing that had become moth-infested. Gave good advice on remediation of the situation. Sent leather articles to another shop for cleaning.
