Worst experience ever. She did many errors on the application, estimated our monthly incorrectly by $250.00 a month, and delayed our closing due to errors. She even did not submit lender conditions on time so our closing was delayed even after the delays; we almost lost the property. Calculated a variable loan even when we specifically requested fixed loan with 20% down. Even when errors were addressed, she was nonchalant about the situation and in many instances wanted to go home or go to lunch if the process was too confusing. All around horrible.
Description of Work: We contracted Karen for a broker for the purchase of our home. She found us a lender.

AS THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY, I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED TO HEAR THAT ONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE. I RECEIVED THE COMPLAINT FROM THE CUSTOMERS AND MEET WITH THEM TO ADDRESS THEIR CONCERNS. I FELT THAT I DID THE BEST I COULD TO ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS REGARDING THE LOAN OFFICER'S MISTAKES. I GAVE THEM AN OPPORTUNITY TO ADDRESS ALL THEIR CONCERNS AND CAME BACK TO THEM WITH SOLUTIONS TO MAKE THEM FEEL A LITTLE BETTER ABOUT THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE. I ALSO OFFERED TO DO ANY FUTURE REFINANCE OR PURCHASE FOR THEM MY SELF, FOR FREE. I FEEL THAT DESPITE THE BAD PERFORMANCE OF MY LOAN OFFICER, I OFFERED THEM A GENUINE FORUM TO ADDRESS THEIR CONCERNS AS WELL AS PROVIDING THEM WITH SOMETHING OF VALUE IN THE FUTURE. AT THE CONCLUSION OF OUR MEETING, I FELT THAT THEY WERE SATISFIED. ERIK OTTERHOLT
