DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I’ve been getting strung along since summer of 2023! Whom I know as the owner of this company assured me he would get a permit and close it out, has not kept his word! My opinion is that he is a scam artist. And he scammed me, the widow of an American veteran!

I will start with the positives: The scheduler was responsive and got me a time as quickly as possible. The service technician (Shawn) showed up on time and walked me through the estimate. He was also willing and able to replace my water heater the same day on a Friday evening. After being with out hot water for a few days, this was greatly appreciated! Some help/support arrived and they worked really well together. Great team and great work. They also were both willing to answer any questions and concerns I had. Now onto the Negatives and truth. The technician was agitated when he showed up and performed the work. With his agitation as he arrived, he never should have come to my house/job site. Although he performed the job the same day, he made some extreme mistakes and didn’t seal the gas flex properly. He actually didn’t seal it at all. There was a natural gas leak in my house for approximately 20 hours that could have been a lot worse. Based on symptoms my dog and I were experiencing, we were both checked out as soon as possible. The company is arguing the medical treatment wasn’t necessary after an 20 hour gas leak next to my furnace/ventilation system. Please exercise caution when using this company for anything relating to gas. This was a large over site that could have cost my life as well as my dogs.

The plumbers were on time, polite and professional. The work took an entire day. The total cost was ~$2300 - excluding the tips. Issues: 1. The granite countertop around the new kitchen faucet started darkening and felt wet to the touch. It was obvious the water spills were most likely seeping through the faucet holes. Had to call multiple times, then they sent a plumber who said the leak is from the brand new Grohe faucet and it is ~$150 in labor just to open up and inspect. I asked him to use Silicon sealant around the holes. It took care of the issue - though I had to reseal it properly couple of weeks later. 2. I had the dishwasher drain pipe replaced. There has been a leak and I had to call someone to have it fixed. 3. I had 14 water shutoff valves around the house (toilet, bathroom faucet, etc) replaced. One of them has a very slow drip. I have called and left messages but have heard back only once. I wouldn't recommend them.

Two things 1. Communication about when a plumber would be here could be improved and do they charge by the hour or by the project as it seemed. 2. I thought Dillon was excellent both in technical ability and customer relations

Excellent!! Travis was exceptional. Wonderful service (ease in getting a quote, scheduling an appointment, technician was on time, job was completed in under 2 hours, price was fair). Appreciated the text messages and e-mails letting me know technician was on the way (and they even provided a picture of the technician for safety’s sake). Very highly recommend 1-800-PLUMBER + Air!!! Will use them again!

If you're not too concerned with Covid-19 procedures, they get the job done! $250 to replace two shutoff valves and was quoted $350 to install a kitchen faucet. However, customer service was top-notch and the work was done efficiently. However, if you're looking for a company that is really taking extra precautions during the pandemic, this review might help you make a decision. Full disclosure, I would have given 1-800-Plumber an A rating if this pandemic wasn't happening. The technician was quite friendly and got the job done. Just wish he was a bit more mindful with Covid-19 procedures. He wore a mask and gloves, but wish he wore shoe covers (like I was told when I scheduled an appointment) since he had to come in and out of the house quite a few times. He did wipe down the surface below the sink with a towel, but I'm not sure if he used disinfectant/germicide like I was told. He didn't wipe down the counter where we put his toolboxes on or the kitchen mats he laid on. Can't be too cautious nowadays, so I went ahead and disinfected the surfaces on my own. Hope this helps for any homeowners looking for some work done during Covid.

I had a cracked metal bracket base of toilet. I was charged $350 to replace it. Once task was 'completed' the plumber said there'd be anther $150 to put the toilet back on (literally takes 2 screws) as this was not on the invoice. How would I know if the right bracket was installed until the toilet was set on it? It's like a surgeon saying We left your scalp open after brain surgery because it wasn't on the invoice. Common courtesy aside, this is scalping at its finest. Lesson learnt. Karma will sort them out.
