COUNTRY LIVIN' DOG DAYCARE AND KENNELS LLC

Animal Boarding Kennels,

About us

We offer a fun, non-traditional boarding facility. We have 3 acres of grassy play areas for dogs to run and play with their new friends. There is also a large pond for water dogs to swim and splash around in. Dogs are out of their kennels, interacting with people and other dogs, for 6-8 hrs/day. They go in their spacious 5' x 23' kennel for 3-4 hrs. in the afternoon and for the evening/night. My priority is to give all the dogs lots of attention and show them a good time.

Services we offer

We provide short and long-term boarding as well as daycare for your dog. While in my care, your dog will receive a lot of exercise from playing with other dogs, chasing toys and birds, exploring and swimming. Their social skills will probably improve as well.

Services we don't offer

We do not offer formal training. We also do not offer dog grooming aside from the occasional quick bath to prevent your dog from going home muddy.

My experience with them was very good. The owner was very nice and responsive. The facility was very clean and professional. There is a large area for the dogs to run. It is a good place. It was standard price.

We have brought our dog here 2X (friendly lab, 3 yrs). I like that Peggy
checks out the dog personalities PRIOR to accepting a dog at the kennel
(you have to and quot;interviewand quot; first). She asks for proof of shots. I like
that there is supervised play time for 4 hrs during the day. I like that
there is a small pond for water loving dogs to swim in. Our dog seemed
well cared for and she came back to us well exercised (she usually goes
to sleep right after coming home) and relatively clean (not dusty or
smelly). I would board her there again.

We have been taking our Australian Shepherd here for the past 5 years. It is by far the best kennel we have found. The owner is sensitive and responsible and clearly cares deeply about all the dogs she takes care of. She understands our dog's energy needs and provides him with plenty of play time. The kennels are comfortable and spacious and each one includes an outdoor run. The owner spends a lot of time observing the dogs and will only let compatible dogs play together, and she will not accept aggressive dogs which is reassuring to us. I feel that my dog will be safe and well cared for when I drop him off, and he is always happy to see the owner when we arrive. I give this kennel my highest recommendation.

My dogs are very excited to go. They spend the day running in a fenced field, usually with access to a swimming pond. Nights are spent in an indoor/outdoor kennel. Indoor kennel is heated. She will provide her own food or your food. I have one dog on a special diet and it was no problem. Baths are given at the end of the stay- and I imagine they need them after all the fun they've had. One of my dogs plays well with others and he generally runs around with the dogs at the kennel that also play well with others. My other dog is a problem child: often doesn't play well with others, jumps fences, requires special food. She has always welcomed both dogs and is able to accommodate the problematic one with his own area. We did have an event that required a vet visit. She called us via our cell phone to let us know what had happened. I felt that the post-vet wound care could have been better and my vet was not happy about how her instructions had been followed. Dogs say A+ for fun.
