BASHFUL BOB'S WINDOWS & DOORS

They did a great job of helping us to select the right door for the location and western orientation which is exposed to a lot of rain in winter and hot sun in the summer. They also matched the style of the nearby windows and the rest of the trim on the house.

They did amazing work. Everything went as planned. Nothing was missed. I would definitely do business with them again!

They came to my house and replaced the broken window part which they had special ordered for me. They also showed me how I can apply silicone spray to my windows to make them slide more easily. They took the time to show me how to disassemble my window, clean the inner track, apply silicone spray (which they provided for me) and how to reassemble my window. They would have cleaned and lubed all of my windows for me, but since I am able to do this myself they were happy to teach me how the process which saved me quite a bit of money. They were on time, prompt with the work they did, very polite and a joy to work with. If I need window parts or service again I will definitely call them back.

We moved into this house in Fall 2012.  Our bedroom is on the South side of the house and the bed is under two large windows.  We found that during the summer it gets very hot in the bedroom from the sun (even though we have central air conditioning) and then this past winter it was very cold by the windows.  We said "enough" and contacted Bashful Bob's to install triple pane windows.  We shopped  around for brands, prices, and reviews and then selected Bob's.  We are not sorry.  Everything went smoothly and they did a good job with the installation.  The triple pane windows make a large difference in our comfort!

Glass had to be ordered. Repair took only 30 minutes. Looks and performs like new. Very friendly personnel.

Bashful Bob's was very helpful throughout the sales process and was very knowledge about the many options that were available.  I chose to go with top of the line wood clad fiberglass windows that were installed in a very professional manner with high quality results.  I chose to go with locally made sold wood doors and the were also installed with high quality.  The crew of two that did the installation were very considerate of my home and did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting new windows and/or doors.

Very friendly on initial visit. A delay of apprximiately a month between initial visit and follow-up to begin installation. Installation went smoothly and professionally.  One incorrect window was ordered but was addressed in timely fashion.  Price was more steep than anticipated but apparenlty reasonable compared to others.

I have used them a number of times and I have always been very happy with them.  The door is very nice.  It is a local company I like.  The work is customized.  They seemed to be the best among the local people who do the work.  They are very professional and very great.

We have a concrete house and one of the old windows needed replacing. This was a big window - about 6'x8' , heavy,  and a tricky stucco installation. Bashful Bobs knew exactly what needed to be done where several other contractors who came out didn't have a clue. They did an excellent job installing and cleaning up after themselves.  My only criticism is that they are very expensive.   I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for difficult jobs that needed top expertise.

I got their name from Angie's list and I called them up and Bob came. He was really very good. He was the first that I scheduled so he came. After he came and he estimated the four windows, I realized there was really a fifth glass that was also was a problem and he said "No problem, I'm not that far away, I'll come back" so he came back and gave me a price on that one and that is who we ultimately had do the job.

They were great! They are really top of the line windows and they look great! Jim was so helpful in assisting me with ordering windows that cost less. They were willing to travel to our location which was two hours away. After ordering the windows, they had them in within a month and completed the installation within four days. A previous contractor told us it would take a month for the installation. However, Bashful Bob’s was able to complete the installation within less than five days.

The project went smoothly and was completed in the time estimated--actually finished a few hours early on the last day.

Both my wife and I were impressed with the professionalism of the 2 young men who did the removal and installation.  Since one of our sons works in construction, we are familiar with the varied work ethics of people in such professions.  We found these 2 men careful professionals who were proud to do an excellent job.  We were particularly impressed with their attention to detail including details that were outside the required job. 

For example, when installing the sliding patio door, the young man took the extra time to get it right.  Even though to us, the door was sliding smoothly back and forth, he was not satisfied and said so.  He spent an additonal 10 minutes adjusting the door to get it the way he was satisfied with. 

In going beyond what was required, they found that in removing the window trim that mud dabbers or spiders had built nests in the indents that natually occur between the existing siding and the trim.   Seeing this, these 2 professionals cut small pieces of wood to insert in each indent so that insects could not nest there when they put the trim back.   They certainly were not required to take this step and we did not expect it, but it indicates their professionalism and pride in doing the job right! 

Finally, they were courteous, friendly guys.  HIGHLY recommend them.

I had a very good experience with them, they did a great job working in kind of an usual situation with the doors. One of the doors when it wasn't closing smoothly they came out and very promptly corrected it until I was happy. Overall they were very professional and very accommodating and wanted me to be satisfied.

We were very happy with the service. Because the floor was not level, the installers had to work hard so that one of the doors would lock properly

They were wonderful from my initial phone call requesting an estimate to the final step of them checking back with me to make sure I got my rebate from Milgard. They came over and walked me through the process, explaining things in easy to understand terms. They gave me lots of options and never pushed for the more expensive ones. They recommended visiting their showroom, which really helped. I could see all the different windows and try them out - ease of opening, closing, cleaning, color choices, how they looked on both the inside and outside, etc. Two different guys came over and measured my windows to make sure they got things right. The quality of the work was excellent. Everyone I dealt with at the company was very nice and helpful. Being a cement-based home, my window installation was not a straight forward process. They two installer really took their time and made sure they figured out the best way to approach the job. They cared about the quality of their work and wanted to get it right. I have already recommended them to 2 other friends who used them and had similar experiences to mine!

After getting quotes from Penguin windows -23K, and another out of town business- 18K. I then had Bob come out for an estimate. I liked him from the start and he seemed to completely understand my goals and preferences. He helped me with aesthetic choices and was great through the whole process. His workers were very pleasant and did a great job and cleaned up after themselves every day. I am very very happy with the work that was done, and the beautiful result.

Overall, I was happy with the service.
