Four guys showed up. They were fast, efficient and friendly. They did the job and were done in a few hours. They patched the old chimney hole and it looks great. I couldn't be more please and would use them again  any time I had roofing needs.

They arrived on time, were polite and professional. They checked out the leak and caulked into a gap between the balcony and wall. The leak returned the next day, so they came back. This time they completed a full inspection of that side of house and in the attic. Because they didn't solve the problem on the first try, they didn't charge anything beyond the first day bill of $150. They did solve the problem: we haven't had any leak issues since then.

We found a pool of water on the patio of front door and suspected the leak was from somewhere on the roof.  Gary came the next day I emailed Alamo.  He climbed up to the roof and checked the suspected area.  He pointed out some exposed nails could be the leak source.  He also inspected the old skylight for a while and recommended it should be replaced right away.  Then he went into his car and gave me a paper quote.  I could not decide whether to do the project at that time since I was not sure about what was the actually leak source.  A week later, on a rainy day, I climbed into the attic and found water dropping along the trim around the skylight onto the attic floor and leaked through the seams down to the patio.  Gary's suspicion was right, so I hired him to do the job.  Two days later, two fellows came in time to get the job done.  They showed me the skylight they gonna install and custom-soldered metal flashing pieces.  They spent three hours replacing the skylight and flashing.  Although it does not look perfectly well since some metal flashing are not fully covered by shingles, I assume that's at least one of the ways to do the skylight flashing.  And most importantly, I haven't seen water leak signs since the replacement. I am overall very satified with the installation. Thank you, Alamo Roofing.

Gary came by the house the day after I called Alamo. He climbed up on the roof and took measurements. When he was done, he got in his pickup and wrote up a quote with a start date on it. Very professional.
The material showed up about two days prior to the work date and the delivery people placed the bundles on top of our roof for easy access. A couple of days later, three workers showed up and completed the job, all except for a few shingles ( they ran out). Two people showed up the next morning and while one man was finishing the roofing, the other ran a magnet over the ground surrounding our house looking for old staples and nails.
 
All refuse was picked up and removed from the area and no damage was done to our property.
From start to finish, the crew worked hard and in a safe, reasonable manner.

Excellent workmanship.  They arrived about 9:00 AM and had the job done and cleaned up by 4:00.  And that included replacing several pieces of plywood that needed to be replaced.  I askeed them to install a roof ridge vent and remove the kitchen range vent as well.  I was impressed.

  I built a new shop building of approximately 2700 square feet.  I called Alamo for a quote to do the shingling.  I met Gary from Alamo shortly thereafter and a quote was received quickly.  I had the work started within a few weeks of receiving the quote.  The shop roof is steep and certainly difficult to navigate.  Gary from Alamo suggested we install permanent lugs near the top of the roof to tie to if, in the future, we had to get back on the roof for maintenance or other.   I thought this was a really good suggestion so I had the lugs installed.  Alamo has a fairly large crew so the work was completed in a short time.  Overall the experience was excellent.  The price was fair, not the lowest price but not unreasonable either.  I originally contacted Alamo because they were located close to the job site and considered that a plus if any maintenance was ever required on the roof.

They worked very well. They were extremely polite. They got back to me as soon as they got my email. The other company that I contacted was not quite as good. The quality of the work was wonderful. Their pricing was also fantastic.

He isn't finished yet but things are going really well. His responsiveness is one of the main reasons we went with him.
