Vista Tree Service

After getting several bids I selected Vista Tree Service to do some major pruning of towering trees in my yard. They were competitive, but not the least expensive. I picked them because I was nervous about damage to my garden, drip system, etc. from tromping boots and dropping limbs, but their team inspired the most confidence that they would be careful. They were out this week, and did a terrific job. They made sure we both had the same plan in mind for the trimming. They were mindful of the health and future growth of the trees as they trimmed and shaped, and the garden as they moved through it. They worked efficiently and carefully, came with a grinder, and when they were done they cleaned up completely.

We needed to have our old willow tree taken done due to rot and the danger of the tree falling on the house. John removed the tree without incident, at a reasonable cost, without doing any damage to our extensive garden. He was on time and cleaned up beautifully. We have used Vista Tree Service in the past and have never been disappointed. We will use them again.

It went very smoothly. We’ve had Ben out for tree maintenance in the past. He always works so hard and does a stellar job. He is really knowledgable and we feel that he cares about our trees as much as we do. My husband and I heartily recommend Vista Tree Services!

We appreciated Ben's suggestions/recommendations for what our trees needed and best approach. He climbed both trees and did the cutting himself. The trees both look so much better! Reasonable prices and exceptional service.

John was extremely professional and did all the pruning himself. He is very knowledgeable and enjoys his work. The trees are much better looking after his careful pruning. He was quick on his estimate, reasonable on price and took the time he allotted for our job. Very good cleanup. We would definitely hire him again.

It took John and his two helpers 2 days of solid work to take out the branches and dead wood from the four trees. It was amazing to watch John 70 feet or so up in those pin oaks, carefully roping the limbs and lowering them down. He was skilled, careful and professional. His workers were positive and professional as well. There was basically no damage to the plants below in the flower beds. I highly recommend Vista. You get what you pay for with care and expertise.

The job was done in excellent fashion. Very professional. John worked around the snow and icy weather to honor his contract. Vista is very professional and easy to work with. We will definitely have him back. His price was very competitive.

John did a major job for them and it was absolutely beautiful. I hired John
come to prune and thin interior canopy of my Japanese Maple. In addition to be
a Certified Arborist, John is an artist. I could not be more pleased and would

I wasn't here when John did the work, but the results are impeccable.  He did exactly what I asked him to, and there was no mess left behind.  He obviously took great care to minimize disturbance to surrounding vegetation, as well as the fish pond.

Vista is very easy to work with. They are responsive with their quotes, on-time and very professional. John is easy to talk with and provides a lot of information. He listened well to my desires of shape and shade. And I feel confident that my trees are getting good care.

Our first contact with John from Vista Tree Service was to receive a quote for the work we wanted done.  He was professional, personable and took time to get  measurements and "count the costs."  Within 24-hours we were emailed a quote detailing the charges for the work to be completed.  Ingrid did a fantastic job working with us on the scheduling and communicating any items that need to be attended to before the work commenced.   From the beginning, we felt confident that Vista Tree Service would do a good job and that there would be no hidden costs.  
John and another worker showed up early each morning to get started.  I was nervous about the tree removal due to the size of the trees (80+ ft) and their close proximity to our house and our neighbor's house (approx 8 ft).  However, once the limbs began falling, I knew that I had nothing to worry about.  Every limb was dropped or guided safely away from other trees and structures.  I was impressed with how hard they worked.  I also really appreciated their attitude toward my kids and other neighborhood children who were fascinated by the whole process.  John communicated with the kids as to where they could play/watch safely and even let them help out with moving some of the branches into the front yard.  I'm sure it probably slowed their work down a bit, but the kids absolutely loved it!
The entire job took four days to complete.  The first two days involved cutting down the trees and moving the branches into the front yard.  Day three was chipping and removing debris from the front yard.  Day four was spent cutting the logs into rounds, grinding the stumps and doing clean-up.  Everything went perfectly according to schedule and we are 100% satisfied with the work completed.
