Our skylights were quite old and cloudy. They replaced them on schedule. No problems.

Abe is awesome to work with, he's a really nice person and very attentive to the needs of his customers. It's obvious that Abe is well liked by his customers because he can be a little difficult to get in touch with at first because he has so much work. Once Abe is in contact with you he is totally professional and keeps in constant contact with you throughout the project. One very nice thing about working with Abe is he brings on a kitchen designer during the quote process, so you have a better idea of how much certain decisions will cost you. It is obvious that Abe knows his work, he has been in General Construction for over 25 years, and also does commercial construction which is unusual to find, in fact one of his regular accounts is Les Schwab, which I think speaks volume about the service and quality of work Abe provides.
Abe is very accommodating to work with, if you have a change of heart or sudden inspiration that doesn't impact his schedule or material he will just do the work without adding a change order cost to your project. He is also totally willing to work with you to help reduce the cost of the project, in our case I did the electrical and painting, and we located our own appliances. With other bids that we saw, I noticed a trend of installation fees or other charges to help recoup some of the cost that a GC would normally markup from other trades.
When the project begins Abe is onsite working everyday, he's not a construction manager, he is a true contractor. You get the sense from talking with Abe that he has seen it all and knows the right solution for every problem. Having done a lot of remodeling on my home, I can attest to the quality of work he does. Anyone who has done much work on there home knows the pride of doing it right, well with Abes experience and thoughtfulness, I felt some of my own past projects I hadn't done nearly as right as Abe does.
He has a great list of suppliers and sub-contractors, and only works with people he believes to be the best of the best and will provide the service possible. I believe it to be a two way street with his business relationships, from chatting with everyone they spoke extremely highly of Abe, in fact we received the recommendation for Abe from the countertop supplier. At one point during our project the flooring company wasn't as responsive as we would have liked, Abe became our advocate and helped marshall the company back in line.
I can't say enough about the quality and professionalism of Abe, and have started referring to him as my marriage counselor because of his ability to come in a quickly renovate a kitchen two months after my wife and I had a new baby.

We are please with his work. Our skylights are like new.

Smacks did a great job. They came over and gave the estimate and ordered materials. A couple weeks later they came over and in one full day finish cutting, and installing the window and the well. I dug the hole myself to avoid that cost. The assistant came back later to finish up pulling the carpet and such.

Fast response. Excellent job. Pleasant interaction with workers.

Excellent job in every way. I have used this company for years and for many jobs. I don't even get a second bid anymore. They always do a great job at a reasonable price.

They were very professional; arrived when they said they would, completed work in one day, cleaned up the work site; work was done very well; i.e., skylights work as advertised, no leaks.
