Fairweather executed a HUGE tree removal with extreme professionalism. Jim Hendricksen skillfully directed and coordinated every aspect of the project, which involved careful attention to safety and traffic control, as well as heavy machinery (e.g., a crane and a logging truck to haul away the huge trunk and limb pieces). His communication before and during the project was excellent, and his attention to detail was wonderful. He went to extra effort to obtain a nice-sized, high-quality replacement tree of the particular, somewhat hard-to- find species I selected. When I requested a hollowed, rotted-out chunk of trunk to keep, he hand-picked a wonderful forked piece that's now a unique natural planter in my garden.

We chose Jim for several reasons: 1) his prior work pruning this and other large trees on our property, 2) his prior work removing other smaller trees on our property, and 3) the confidence he earned by clearly communicating the scope and cost of this project. The B rating on price is more a reflection of the sheer expense of a project like this. Jim's price was reasonable and customary and there were no hidden or added costs beyond that stated in his proposal.

We spent about $120 on their services. We had a part of a tree by the street fall on another tree in our yard. So, they cleared away the debris of the fallen tree and they also worked on the tree that was damaged. Everything turned out just fine. We were happy with them. We will use them again in the future, if needed.

Jim has trimmed very large evergreens in my backyard 4-5 times in the last ten years. My house is 70 years old and the back yard is a classic case of the original owner overplanting too-large trees for the space. However, the mature trees create a sense of privacy that is one of the things I love about the house. Jim has been great about maintaining the trees at a safe level and removing them when it's no longer possible. He seems to really love trees and has been great about seeing the potential in trees that looked like they were no longer viable to me -- until he trimmed them up! Considering the size of the job, I think his prices are fair and his work really helps to maintain the quality of our property.

He is an Arborist and he very much cares about the trees and trimming the trees correctly. He has been working for us for 12 years off and on and I have never had any problems.

They showed up promptly, worked skillfully, cleaned up thoroughly.

Jim was very nice and respectful. They were prompt and careful when they took down my tree. They even took some additional yard debris and chipped it for me. They cleaned up after themselves and were very helpful in answering questions.

I HAVE USED THIS SERVICE FOR FIVE YEARS AND HAVE NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR THIS COMPANY AND JIM HENDRICKSEN. HE HAS BROUGHT MY ELMS BACK TO LIFE AND SHAPE AFTER YEARS OF NO SERVICE AND HAVING BEEN TOPPED BY ORIGINAL OWNERS. THEY ARE THE BEST.

FAIR WEATHER WAS EXCELLENT. THEY PROPOSED A PAYMENT PLAN, CAME ON TIME, PERFORMED THE WORK SAFELY AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY EVEN MILLED THE WOOD AND DONATED IT TO THE HIGH SCHOOL!
