Great. Quick and no problems.

The estimator and worker, Anival, was very nice to work with on my two projects that I hired Evergreen for. Anival was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional and gave very competitive quotes. I had two large tree removal projects performed and the crew arrived on time, did excellent work and cleaned up very nicely when they were finished. The equipment they used was first rate. The remote controlled stump grinder is a site to behold! I have hired many tree service companies over the years and Evergreen is the best I have used. Highly recommended.

Because they had another larger job to go to next, they arrived first thing in the morning with a double-crew and took care of our work, including clean-up, in not much more than an hour. Efficient and excellent work. At the time we got their bid, we thought they were a different tree-service company with a similar name, but after confirming that their reviews were also good, decided to proceed with the job. Both Anival and Nicholas were very personable, seemed to truly enjoy the work that they do, and seemed committed to good service.

It went great. They did a good job!

I called and they came within a few hours to give me an estimate. AV was professional and knowledgeable from start to finish. The crew came on time and had top of the line equipment. They left the site cleaner than it was before they came. I had three estimates they were not the highest but not the lowest either. A+ service!

They were here on time, doing a great job and only took them a couple hours. I would recommend them and use them, again.

The owners, Nicholas and Anival, had great customer service. They are very professional, they have all of the proper equipment, and their crew is professional as well. If there are any problems or concerns they let me know before they took any action. They are very efficient. We were amazed with the service they provided.

We liked them, they were very good. They did a good job, they were punctual, they did the work that I wanted them to do, they did a little more than I wanted them to do actually. The guy that came out and analysed it. He was like a professional. They did a great job. They came out right away, very punctual, very friendly, top notch on everything.

Nick initially communicated quickly via phone and text, but never showed up for our appointment at our home after my wife and I both took the day off from work to meet him. Our follow up text messages to him were ignored.

I hired Evergreen Landscape Care and Tree Services to finish a stone walkway and add a low garden retaining wall. I found them on Home Advisor where they advertised themselves as stone masons. When they arrived to work Anival Valencia said to me "You know this contract is only for four days. If the work goes over four days you pay more." I said that wasn't true and had a copy of the contract. I offered they just leave if they won't honor the contract. They said they'd honor the contract. They didn't. They had a copy of the job but didn't follow it. They promised me workers with 10 yr minimum experience with stone walkways and retaining walls but used four people with no experience. Nick Valencia said they had nowhere else to work because they ran out of materials at another job site. Nick did not supervise or train the inexperienced ones. The walls were to be 8 inches wide and between 6 and 12 inches high. I came down to 6 inches width and then 5 inches because he complained about having to search for big enough stones. Still they used 3 and 4 inch wide stones in places. In many places they didn't mortar in between the stones beside each other and most of the workers hardly used mortar between layers of stones. Rather than chip off rough edges of stones, they stuck chips of stone to fill in spaces- most not even mortared in. I could fit my fist in some of the holes they left. They placed stones on top of each other rather than staggering so in many places there were open holes from the top of the wall down to the base. I had told Nick and Anival it was a retaining wall around garden beds and needed to be steppable. It was not. The work order called for back mortaring to brace the wall but they did not do it, except for a few places the good workers completed. Even after giving it three days to set, stones could just be picked off the top off the walls. The wall tumbled over in places if stepped on. Whenever I told Nick he wasn't working to our contract he became belligerent, telling me I wasn't letting them do their job. I told them they could just leave now. I had paid them enough for the work so far completed. Nick said they'd leave if I paid in full. I said I wouldn't pay the contract amount because they hadn't finished the work. Nick threatened to put a lien on my house. Nick and Anival were rude, insulting and arrogant. Their work was grossly inadequate. Their integrity non-existent. I am taking most of their walls down and rebuilding correctly. I don't believe they deserve the opportunity to fix their work because they wouldn't correct it as it was being done. Also, I cannot trust they would fix it.

i am extremely disappointed with this provider. Nicholas Valencia visited my yard so that I could explain what I wanted. I was very explicit that I wanted to use pavers that I had stacked in the side yard. We discussed the need for landscape fabric, gravel and sand to result in a solid and stable pathway. He claimed they were very busy but he would do his best to be timely... To which I replied that I was in no hurry. He charged me an extra $75 dollars over the $149 I paid for the offer. I was surprized at that, especially as they were using my pavers, but agreed to pay it for a quality walkway. 

I did did not get a quality walkway. The pavers rocked in place and there was no sand or gravel in between the pavers for stabilization. The end pavers needed to be cut to fit around the cement water meter cover, and the cuts look terrible. The walkway looks cheap and slipshod. I contacted Nickolas to discuss my dissatisfaction with the work and he said it was just an inexpensive minor job, and that he wasn't even there for the installation! So all of our discussion regarding my desires were totally moot. I asked him to come take a look at the finished product, which he said he would do, but I've never heard back from him. 

I gave Evergreen the benefit of the doubt by offering to let them review and redo the work, but ultimately received no response. I am very upset as it is now past the 30-day guarantee, so I've lost out on that too. I DO NOT recommend this company as they do not follow through with the project as discussed in detail, nor are they responsive in any way. My faith in Angie's List has taken a hit, and I depend on the offered services quite a bit. All in all, a very frustrating experience.

The retaining wall location is sloped in 2 directions. We were looking for something that really looked nice but was sturdy enough for kids to climb on. Nick & company did a great job! We could not be more pleased. Nick is very easy to work with, his crew works hard and they do quality work. They are very customer oriented. They listened to our concerns about drainage and trees and worked with us to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. Then they went above and beyond after cleaning up the area they asked if I wanted them to spread the grass seed they saw sitting in my garage. Awesome!

This is a young company, eager to please and busy with a number of projects that include apartment complexes in the area. They have built some retaining walls in my neighborhood. My main concern is that I thought I was working through another company with a similar name. I had done business with that company before and was very pleased with their work, so I was hesitant to have Nicholas and his crew take on the bigger project that needs to be done.

It couldn't of went any better showed up and got the job done in the time I was told ..
