He and his crew did quite a bit of work but it was things like he was supposed to take out the pool bed of Iris that was just matted in there and he didn't know enough about it, the one thing he didn't know. He just topped off the Iris at the top and expected it to go away and Iris is a tuber and you have to remove them. It was taking over the whole yard and I kept trying to tell him that. He just didn't get it. Then he looked it up and he said those things are invasive you can't expect me to get rid of all them. But I expected him to dig them out. That's what I paid him for. I could tell he really didn't instruct his crew as to how deep they had to go, they were just kind of putt-sing around in the top inch of soil, so I went out and in our conversation he thought that you would have to dig down a foot, but you don't. The tubers are close to the surface, but you have to get under them. I just said I think four inches would be plenty or six inches, so he knew that he had to dig. He did not instruct his crew, his crews did not understand English, the one guy did, but he was like the foreman sort of person. The rest of them didn't understand English so you couldn't communicate with them either if the main guy wasn't there. They were supposed to have trimmed some blueberries and they just snipped off a few tips, they didn't know what they were doing.

I've worked with Creative Touch Landscaping twice, and was very happy both times. They were friendly and easy to work with, helpful when choosing materials, and when any unforeseen issues arose, they were able to find solutions that worked. Most importantly, the end result looks fantastic!

It wasn't a big job. They were just nice people. They were prompt and right on time. They were very helpful with giving other tips on things I wanted to do. I highly recommend them. They were good.

I called Creative Touch Landscape when my Mother's home needed someone to care for her lawn and landscaping needs. I have used them since 2010. They have been wonderful to work with, very reasonable and do an excellent job on her property. Mike Gagnon is very professional and super nice to work with. I highly recommend them for all your landscaping, lawncare needs.

Initially I hired them to do a one-time cleanup, but now they come monthly and maintain our yard well. The yard has never looked better.

It was a full day job (8 hours) and I was pleased with the quality of the work. The person they had out did a nice job and was very professional. The people I talked to in their office were also friendly and professional as well. I thought the price was pretty steep for what amounted to a yard cleanup job. It worked out to at least $50 an hour, which seems high to me for essentially "cutting grass and pulling weeds". I have had the same type of work professionally done before for much cheaper, and it was also of a good quality. I used Creative Touch because they had taken over the customers from a company no longer in business (the owner decided to pursue another career). I would not use them again for this type of work as I can get it done for cheaper, at the same level of quality.

Most of the original work proceeded as planned, with questions about the fencing and problems with the sprinkler system and timer. THEY DID NOT PROVIDE PROPER WINTER DRAINAGE OR INSTRUCTIONS. THEY DID NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK WHEN HALF THE SPRINKLERS BROKE FROM INADEQUATE DRAIN FOR WINTER, AND CHARGED ANOTHER $500 TO FIND THE PROBLEM!

"You declined the winterization service! We did share with you how to winterize the system. You obviously did not pay attention or bother to call us to ask questions when the time came to winterize the system. That was not really your issue anyways. The bill you received was due to a problem because your husband only turned on the sprinkler valve part way on in the house. We were under the assumption that it was fully on. After exhausted all avenues and questioning him we double checked his actions to find the valve barley turned on. That was your main problem and Issue NOT A BROKEN SYSTEM FROM WINTER! How is any of this our fault??? You were kept in the loop the whole time the repair was been done and authorize everything."

The pathway is beautiful and I receive many compliments on it. I love the new grass (and so do my dogs). Ray was great to work with as was the rest of his team. They performed the services quickly, professionally and even programmed my system so it came on at the appropriate times. I've had some bad experiences with various contractors in the past and I couldn't be more pleased with Creative Touch. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to my friends/family.

This is the second time I hired CTL. See prior review under CTL/lighting. While Mike was out for the previous job, I had him work up a quote for the fall trimming. His quote was right in the ballpark, and based on how well the lighting project went I didn't anticipate any issues. A job well done again. Three things that CTL does extremely well 1)Mike and crew showed up as scheduled and we walked through the entire yard and discussed the project so that everyone was on the same page and address any concerns I had 2) When the job was done (a full day of work) the lead crew member made sure that I was completely satisfied 3) Mike followed up with a telephone call the next day to ensure that CTL had met my expectations. Most of us just hope for a good job at a fair price - CTL does that with AAA customer service. I will hire CTL whenever I need help

.Called CTL (Mike Gagnon owner) and requested he stop by and work up a quote for landscape lighting. He returned my call ASAP and set a time and date. He was right on time for the appt and we discussed the project. Very professional and easy to work with - knew his stuff ! He submitted his bid; I did get other bids, like most of us would. I chose CTl because of Mike's professionalism, his project knowledge and his bid was right in line. Smart decision by me! The project changed somewhat and he took it in stride and we worked out the price change over the phone, no problem. We set a date 2 weeks out (time to order parts), he kept in touch, called two days prior for a reminder, bad weather set in, he called and we both agreed to postpone two days. He and Sam showed up on time as discussed and the project started. I think what I most appreciated, was that Mike introduced me to Sam (the installer), we went quickly over the project, made sure everyone was on the same page, and addressed any last minute concerns of mine. This was the perfect way to start the project. Now for the best part - Sam "is the man" he installed the lighting like it was at his own home. I'm real picky about the finished project and Sam left nothing unfinished, a real pro. It's hard to find those types of guys. He showed me the nuts and bolts of the system, how and why it's done this way, made suggestion for maintenance, etc. Update 12/2/2010 We are very happy with the landscape lighting. We have received several very positve comments on how nice the house and yard look with the lighting.

When they finally got back with an estimate for the job it was a full 7 weeks after the original request. The cost went from $3500 to $7100 (they added things I didn't ask for). I insisted to keep my budget at $4000. So now, I am left with a Mickey Mouse partial coverage of my front yard. I asked him what it would cost to complete an eight foot parking strip in addition to the $4000. He said it would be a flat $1500 without as must as skipping a beat. I must say I was impressed with how quickly he was able to determine the exact cost of that bit of irrigation when it took him 7 weeks to figure the rest of the yard. I also discovered because Mr. Gagnon apparently was never at my property until the day work began.

After the fact, the price was definitely NOT worth the job they performed. I had to mention a few items they ''forgot'' to do and when needing any follow-up procedures they add another fee. After paying almost $6000 dollars you would expect some guarantee of the work and minor maintenance to assure that the work was complete. The only thing I can say is that they were quick.

"FIRST OFF, I AM SORRY THIS MEMBER FEELS THAT WAY. WE PROVIDED AN EXCELLENT SERVICE FOR HER. WE IN FACT DID MISS INSTALLING ONE SHRUB AS AGREED UPON, BUT IT WAS TAKEN CARE OF PROMPTLY BEFORE WE GOT PAID. WE ALSO GAVE HER AN ADDITIONAL UNIT OF BARK FREE OF CHARGE, JUST BECAUSE I WANTED TO ENSURE THE PLACE LOOKED EXTRA NICE FOR HER. AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED AND A WALK THRU WITH HER WAS DONE, SHE WAS NOT DISSATISFIED AT THAT TIME AND PAID US IN FULL. THE MAIN ISSUE OR THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS 2 MONTHS AFTER THE CLEAN UP AND MULCHING, SHE DID HAVE A FEW WEEDS (NOT A LOT) GROWING IN THE LANDSCAPE AND THOUGHT WE SHOULD INCLUDE THAT IN OUR PAST SERVICE FOR HER. THERE WAS NO MENTION OF ONGOING MAINTENACE PROGRAM DISCUSSED WITH HER. WITHOUT A MAINTENANCE PROGRAM SET UP OR A HOMEOWNER PROVIDING MAINTENANCE, WEEDS GROW, THIS IS OREGON. BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS, I AM SORRY SHE FEELS THIS WAY AND I WISH SHE WOULD HAVE COMMUNICATED THIS TO US DIFFERNTLY, AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED."
