"We appreciate your feedback and regret any misunderstanding. We did indeed find that the heat exchanger was in need of replacement as was the inducer motor. To support our diagnosis we did take pictures and shared those results with you. When we contacted Lennox to inquire about your furnace they provided the replacement information for both parts, however since we are not Lennox dealers they failed to inform us that your heat exchanger was under warranty which is why you were quoted the price that we gave. We are happy to provide the pictures that we shared with you to any other service provider to ensure that all of your furnace concerns are met. Had we been informed by the manufacturer of any kind of warranty we would have gladly assisted you in that process as we have for so many of our clients. Our company does not look to take advantage of anyone as you can see from other reviews, and believes in providing quality service to encourage long term relationships with our clients. We wish you well and hope that you are able to find a service provider that will ensure that your system is working at its best."

We've used Chase for many jobs over the years, on our Rentals and our own home, and have never had a bad experience. We trust them completely. They are knowledgeable and friendly, and will give you a fair price, show up on time, and clean up after themselves. They are usually easy to schedule, and will do what they can to get to emergencies ASAP. If you need something RIGHT NOW, and they are too buried to get to your job themselves, they will refer you to another company that is equally good.
He showed up on time and did the job perfectly. I appreciate his honesty and will make sure that everyone knows about him. These days it really is hard to get honest people for anything. He charged me exactly what was quoted and did quite a bit of extras for the fixing the leaking pipe at no extra charge.
I am not even sure where to begin!! I had a terrible experience with another company and had almost given up getting my AC repaired at all. The original company ended up billing me almost $2000 after telling me the system (only 2 years old) was damaged and coils needed to be replaced. The technician also told me it would likely not be covered by the manufacturer unless I paid for a 3 year service agreement with them. I paid and then decided I wanted a second option - this after they took the coil out of the AC unit. About an hour later I asked for a refund and that's when I called Chase....
I called Chase and spoke with Kelly, explained my situation, and she immediately went in to problem solving mode. Her husband Paul was booked up but she managed to get me in within 7 days. He arrived and was incredibly knowledgeable and courteous and explained what was going on and everything he needed to do. He was apologetic about my experience with Pyramid because he felt that it made a bad impression in the industry. Within 4 hours Paul had the system up and running AND it was $600 instead of $2000.
I will recommend Chase to anyone who asks and will post to Angie's List and Facebook to make sure everyone I know uses them for any issues they may have.
Well, I got an email that afternoon and all together the quote came in at $527 for both the line and service. I called and scheduled the service with Kelly who said they had an opening that Friday morning. I said great, cause I had already bought the range and it was sitting un-hooked up teasing me with its gas-cooking goodness in our kitchen. Two techs showed up Friday morning bright and early (on-time again!) and after I showed them what went where, I went to work.
When I got home, the work was done. However, there was a problem in that the pipe was a bit too long to push my stove all the way back. I called Chase and told Paul what the issue was. He said no problem he'd be out the next day and get it fixed. Well, like everything else in this experience, Paul and Chase did exactly what they said. Oh, and the kicker to all this: final bill was actually less than the quote!
Paul Shearer (technician, also the owner) came out promptly, swiftly diagnosed the immediate problem (final burner was not igniting), and then checked the furnace over to identify any other issues. He resolved the main problem, gave the furnace some needed internal cleaning, and pointed out some things that I should keep an eye on for the future.
He was finished after about an hour and honored the Angie's List $20 coupon. There was a minor cost over and above the service call minimum, due to the additional maintenance that was performed. I was completely satisfied and expect to use Chase for our next maintenance.
The owner, Paul Shearer, was involved at every step of the process- from determining what was needed to complete our job at the time of the original estimate, to educating us on various equipment options, to being personally involved in every phase of the installation of the new system. Paul was very precise on exactly what was to be accomplished on each day regarding the removal of the existing system and installation of the new system and the time it would take. His firm's work was immaculate.
I found it refreshing to work with a highly competent professional who does a great deal of the work himself. His direct and to the point manner was ideal. His wife handles the administrative duties of billing and handling the rebate/tax credit issues and this also went perfectly.
I asked Chase for an inspection and tune-up, and was favorably impressed with the results. Turns out the heat exchanger had a lifetime warranty, and Chase ordered one shipped overland, which took about three weeks. Chase did the work in less than half a day, and fixed a few other problems in the furnace/AC at the same time. I would not hesitate to ask Chase to service my furnace again.
