Branny's House Cleaning Service Inc

A Branny's employee damaged the finish on my nearly new stainless steel refrigerator in the course of a routine cleaning. Although I pointed out the damage immediately to both the cleaner and to the manager of Branny's, who happened to be on site that day, and asked Branny's to provide a resolution to the problem, they have failed to do so and ignored my written requests for resolution. They did not even provide suggestions on how it might be resolved, simply told me to contact an appliance manufacturer. The problem arose when the employee cleaned my stainless-steel refrigerator. Although she may have used the lemon oil (what the manager claimed was their standard protocol), the technique she applied was horizontal scrubbing ? against the ?grain? on the finish of the stainless steel. All stainless manufacturers specifically warn against this technique, because it can damage the finish on your appliance, and my husband and I have avoided doing so in the two years we?ve owned the refrigerator. Although the cleaner immediately admitted to creating the scratches when I pointed them out, Branny's manager claimed that the scratches were caused by normal wear and tear by my 2-year-old son or were present prior to your cleaning. In fact, they were not. While normal wear and tear will cause small, irregular scratches, the damage Branny's did to the refrigerator can only be created by scrubbing against the grain with consistently applied pressure (it is impossible for a toddler to achieve this same effect). The scratching was likely caused by using a cloth that picked up dirt and grit on the surface of the refrigerator. I did not ask Branny's to replace the refrigerator at full cost ($1,700 to $2,000) since it is still in working order, however the appearance is irreparably marred. During my research into this matter, I learned that while small, incidental scratches can often be removed from stainless, large areas where the finish is damaged must be resurfaced by a factory to restore their original look. Otherwise, the refrigerator will continue to look ?dented,? as it does now. I asked, in writing, for Branny's to provide monetary compensation for the damage but my request was ignored. Hopefully posting my experience on Angie's list will help others avoid this company. I found a different cleaning company through Angie's list to replace Branny's and they have done a better job cleaning and have not damaged my house at all.

Above explanation. Cleaning was "good". Very poor customer service. Inconsistent and inflexible. I would never recommend this woman to any one. She treated me like some suspicious character. I am a registered nurse who needs help and has the money to spend to do it. Why would you make it so difficult?

She's great, she is very professional about her work, I recommend her to anybody. It's a great service. It's really helpful, and all of the girls that work for the service are really nice.

I showed Naomi a few items I wanted to be sure they cleaned (the floor of two closets, dusting a shelf of items and some dirt on a few bathroom walls). Three cleaners worked for about 7 combined man hours ($25 per hour), but didn't get to everything and were thorough on some things and cursory on others (like not getting cat hair around the edges of hard floors and leaving food debris on the kitchen floor). Rather than indicating that they needed more time and would come back (assuming I would pay more) they just rushed through the downstairs. In addition, they didn't do all extra items I requested. All in all, they were nice people, but just lacked the attention to detail I expected.

I would recommend them to anyone.

She is very efficient, flexible and I love the service! I now have her cleaning for me on a regular basis.

I interviewed a lot of cleaning services before getting Branny's. They are without a doubt the best at what they do. Kristine is very thorough and efficient, and I have never had any complaints about the work that she does. Also, it is very affordable. It's a great bargain for the quality of work. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a cleaning service.

We just moved into a new and very large manufactured home which was in disarray with cartons and loose items everywhere. The cleaning service owner came with the worker to make a plan for the work. They graciously agreed to clean around the piles of unpacked items. I was pleased with the flexibility of the worker. She was willing to use my vacuum cleaner and some cleaning agents I preferred. Otherwise she came self-contained with all materials necessary. She worked hard for 4 hours and was pleasant throughout. I felt completely comfortable with her. From the time I originally called for help until I was called for a satisfaction check, all contacts were professional and timely.

THEY DO A GOOD BASIC JOB. THE COMPANY ORIGINALLY STARTED OUT BY PUTTING ABUSED WOMEN BACK TO WORK, BUT SINCE THEN THE COMPANY HAS BEEN BROUGHT OUT BY BRANNY'S, SO I HAVE JUST STUCK WITH THEM. THEY DO A GOOD JOB OVERALL.

WE NEEDED TO HAVE A RENTAL HOUSE CLEANED BECAUSE WE WERE ON VACATION AND WE ALREADY HAD ANOTHER PERSON WHO WANTED TO MOVE IN. THEY CAME IN JUST ONE DAY AND CLEANED THE HOUSE VERY WELL.
