None of the upstairs vents get as much air flow from them as the downstairs ones, which is no fault of Anderson's. It's something we'll have to "feel out" and Jeremy said if it isn't cooling upstairs like we want it to, he can come back out and add dampeners to allow us to push more air to the upstairs vents.
The price was fair for what everyone else told me (including other HVAC guys who weren't going to be available this week) was just a DIY project. Well, I tried DIY and it took me 20 minutes on one duct to do a poor job using an o-clamp and duct tape, in 100+ degree conditions. Not to mention that with the blown in insulation up there that's never been stepped on, I wasn't confident where my crossbeams were and it didn't seem worth the risk to put a hole in my ceiling. Jeremy was very professional and I'll definitely be recommending him and Anderson to anyone in need of HVAC service! Thanks, Jeremy!

The furnace is very old. Rather than simply recommending that I replace the furnace, he gave a few suggestions, including that I may just "wait" to get it replaced because it could last a few more years. Very honest.... I thought he would just try to sell me on a few furnace. When I do need a new furnace down the road, I was definitely give them my business.

Our experience with Anderson Heating & Cooling was outstanding! Last night (after 8pm), I left a message on the company's voicemail, letting them know that our A/C unit had suddenly stopped working and we needed it repaired ASAP. Since it's been in the 90's for the past few days here in Portland, I figured that I wouldn't be seeing a serviceman here at my house for at least a week. To my pleasant surprise, Steve, the owner of Anderson Heating & Cooling, called me back that night and was able to schedule a service call for the following day! (which was today). Jeremy arrived promptly at our house this morning and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. A bug had crawled into out A/C unit's contactor and basically fried itself and the contactor and cut power to our A/C unit. Jeremy replaced our contactor with a new one with a cover on it (to protect it from future bugs!) and our A/C is now working again, beautifully! :) We were very impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and courtesy that this company extended to us during this very busy time of year. We will most definitely use Anderson Heating and Cooling again will happily recommend them to all of our family and friends!

Once he arrived the diagnosis began. As I mentioned before we didn't really know what was wrong but after some time he was able to pinpoint the problem and repair the unit. He was not only very professional, but he was very knowledgable and patient. I am so pleased to have my AC back. I would call him again in a heartbeat.
