Everything that was to be cleaned was done very poorly. There was visible dirt, grease and dust everywhere. The floors were to be just cleaned and not waxed. A clean and wax type of product was used and left everything very smeared and slippery. The laundry room wasn't even cleaned or an attempt made to do so. The oven and stove were coated in grease as was the refrigerator, cupboards, counters and floors in the kitchen. We contacted the owner and he came over and said, "She apparently did not know what a thorough cleaning meant. We explained that we were very thorough in our explanation of what needed to be done. He agreed that the job was very poorly done and refunded us $40.00 which he said was his share of the cleaning costs. He said he could not refund the $60.00 because that was her share and she would be angry and file a complaint with him through whatever governmental authority handles this and he would be in big trouble. We now find ourselves left with a completely unacceptable dirty cleaning job which must be cleaned by another company and the extra cost and delay in moving our things into our home. We now have boxes sitting and waiting to be unloaded. We believe the owner should have refunded the entire amountto us as none of the work done was acceptable. We are very sad to be treated like this and we are uncertain as to who to trust to do the job now.
