We called Barrington Well Drilling because we were in escrow on the sale of our house and found through inspections that the well was not viable. We met with Barrington on September 1st and let them know that our house was in escrow and closing hinged on us getting a new well drilled. Barrington told us that he could begin in a week so we paid a non-refundable $3000 deposit that day in order to secure our place in his schedule. The drilling rig arrived on September 13th. On September 18th drilling began and we were told that they would be finished by the end of the week. They completed approx. 200 feet of drilling on the 18th and did the first well clean-out. On the 20th they installed the PVC and measured water flow. The final clean-out of the well was completed and the pump was installed on September 23rd. September 24th trenches were dug for connecting the new well to the water storage system that was already in place. By September 27th the plumbing to connect the old well, new well and storage system was completed. The system could not be completed until the old well was cleaned out and that began on October 1st and took a couple of days. It took another 2 or 3 days before Barrington removed the drilling equipment so we could begin cleanup of the site. The Barrington's were very cordial and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure talking with them...our only issue with their work was that they only spent 2 to 4 hours a day on our job when they were there, which wasn't 5 days a week. On Sept. 18th when Barrington told us they would be finished by the end of the week we expected the project would be completed within a few days and certainly in time for the sale to close as scheduled, but it was not. We had to postpone closing twice. When we called their office calls were not returned and I ended up having to email them and waiting 2 or 3 days for a answer. They did a great job, but if you use them you can't be in any kinda of a hurry.
