+ -1 moreIn general the work was performed satisfactorily. However, for the two hours of work the crew of two performed, the price seemed high, even after it was adjusted lower than the original estimate, due to less insulation that needed to be replaced. Additionally, calls and emails were not answered promptly and required multiple attempts to contact the company concerning issues or questions.
Description of Work: The work West Coast Insulators performed involved repairing and replacing insulation under my house. The majority of the work focused on re-stuffing and re-securing insulation under the house that had fallen down. The bulk of the work performed was replacing broken threading that secured the insulation between the joists under the floor boards. Additionally, about 20% of the insulation was replaced because it was beyond repair and a new vapor barrier was replaced in about 50% or the area under the house.
