LM Nodine Services & General Contracting

As with previous projects where we've used LM Nodine Services, this job went extremely well. Communication was prompt, the team members were all friendly, helpful and responsive. The team showed up as scheduled, worked hard, then cleaned up each evening. The project was completed on schedule and on budget as quoted. We continue to be very happy with Luke and his services.

We are thrilled with the outcome of our project! Luke's bid came in right in the middle of the 3 bids we got. We went with him based on recommendations, proximity to our project (we much prefer to use local people) and his willingness to itemize all pieces of the job and let us pull items off his to do list as there were certain items we wanted to do ourselves to remain within our limited budget. Luke and his crew were very responsive and professional every step of the way! We enjoyed working with Chris and Mike on a daily basis. It is not easy to have your home in upheaval for 4+ months, but it was well worth it and we couldn't be happier with the completed project.

Luke and his employees were excellent to work with. The numerous changes went very smooth and on time. This business was very good about communicating consistently regarding schedules and even called us on a Sunday to confirm times. They were very good with cleaning up before leaving. My kitchen is beautiful and looks better than I expected! I highly recommend Luke for any size project needs.

Experienced and professional, they came on time, were thorough, and did an excellent job.

We picked out a custom mosaic, along with custom accent pieces, and fitted them within off the shelf tile sets.

They assisted in determining optimal orientations, centering, and spacing decisions, and even helped pick the stone socket cover color, since we had samples.  We went with their suggested grout color and it looks very nice.

Note: The background Chiarro tile sets were light colored and porous, so that when the darker grout was applied, the Chiarro darkened noticeably, despite cleaning.  The look overall is still quite good, and I am not suggesting taping over tumbled tiles prior to grouting, but I am warning that porous tiles will be affected by darker grout.

The price was a bit high, but I interrupted their schedule in order to expedite the installation.

Great.  Everyone was friendly and professional and the work was completed in a timely manner.

This was a small job for the contractor but we were in a time bind and he fit us into his busy schedule and gave us prompt, professional and competent service.

Luke, always is on time, answers his phone, is forthright, trustworthy, gets to the jobs requested in a timely fashion,  skilled in all he does and very professional.   He knows his 'stuff'.

He stayed on top of things the whole time through the job.  He was very friendly and nice, and he did a really good job.

The reason for our call was to replace a rotten wood and black and white checkered floor  in an unused showcase garage.  It was built without and venting and had been slowly collecting moisture until the floor was so rotten that you couldn't walk on it with out your foot going through.  Since the 2nd owner never used the garage he was unaware that it had gotten so bad.  Luke and his team came in and tore out the entire floor and disposed of all the rotten wood/tile. Then walls were reinforced were the water had also wicked up and compromised there integrity.  Gravel was needed next and again Luke had a creative solution for getting the gravel to the garage without using the much to heavy gravel truck.  Large amounts were needed of gravel due to the size of the garage. The concrete was poured and smoothed out and the walls replaced.  The entire crew was courteous and the job went smooth from start to finish. We could not have been happier with the outcome.  We were so pleased we also used this company to fix several other smaller projects.  All went like clockwork and cost conscious. The total garage expense was 16K, and the other smaller jobs totaled another 2.5K.  Very capable company, and owner.

Our experience with Luke was amazing. He is punctual, reliable, organized, flexible and honest. We especially like that he keeps in constant contact via text or email, provides insightful suggestions, and cleans up the job site every night.
Our requirement that the fridge be recessed to avoid the typical intrusion into the kitchen meant it was pushed into the living room area. Luke helped us design a beautiful entertainment center to hide it, so the remodel involved the living room a bit also.
Luke's followup is excellent. Any project will need a few adjustments, and Luke was prompt and friendly as he addressed ours (a 'knocking' hot water line, a cabinet's turntable needing adjustment, etc.)
In summary, I'd say if you're looking to have a small job done with inexpensive materials then Luke isn't your guy. But if you want a high-quality project which you can be proud of and enjoy for years, give LM Nodine Services a call. You won't be disappointed.

I telephone Luke Nodine as he came highly recommended by a friend.  It was nice that he answered the telephone and we set up an appointment in two days.  He arrived on time and listened to what we wanted...new cabinets, countertops and backsplash.  We also wanted to convert from electric to gas.  Luke stated he was going out of town for a few days but would get back to me in a week's time.
True to his word, he did and arrived with his apprasial and plans.  Once we decided, everything was easy.  Luke directed us to different places to select the items we wanted in our new kitchen.  He handled everything from that point, to the coordination of ordering and delivery.  He let us know when the cabinets would be delivered and he was here on that day to begin the remodel.  We were comfortable enough that we left on vacation, knowing the our home was in good hands!
When beginning the conversion to gas from electric, it was determined we were already plumed for gas.  That saved us some money.  Instead of reducing the cost from the total amount,  Luke happily did a couple of little odd jobs for me that needed to be done but had been put off.
My husband and are delighted with our new kitchen!
