We are in the middle of selling our house and we needed repairs done in a hurry after our buyer submitted a list of requested repairs.  Kyle did a wonderful job at a very reasonable price!  Obviously, you don't want to sink a whole bunch of money into a home you're leaving in a few weeks so we were very pleased at Kyle's expertise to do all of the different things we requested at a great price.  He's personable and easy to work with; does quality work; and gets a lot done in a short amount of time.

When the owner of KCS Construction, Kyle Spivey, arrived to give us the estimate, he immediately presented us with an extensive list of references.  We obtained five other estimates for this work.  We had to ask the other contractors for references, and none of them had a list with them.

Kyle was present each day to supervise his workers.  Once the work began, it continued each weekday until it was completed.  A few items were quoted in the contract as time and material because it was impossible to determine what would be required until the old siding was removed.  When the work was completed, the charges for time and material were very fair.  Kyle was always responsive to our needs and preferences as the job progressed.  He made several very helpful suggestions like framing the windows and adding ledger boards for the deck and front steps my husband will build.  The front of our home is dominated by two very large windows with arches at the top.  He created a frame for these windows with a two-layer keystone at the top of the arch.  These frames greatly enhance our home's curb appeal.

We would highly recommend KCS Construction.  We are very pleased with the quality of the work performed.  Kyle has an eye for detail and is careful to see his workers maintain his concept of quality work. 

Kyle came to me on multiple recommendations. I had several bids on the project and felt most comfortable with Kyle because he didn't try to up the bill by performing unnecessary or additional work. I had a limited budget and almost all other bids were double triple the bid I got from Kyle. Because of the references I felt confident he would be able to get the job done, on time, on budget, which he did. He did NOT charge me above the negotiated rate and we had many discussions on the progress and project throughout the 2 1/2 weeks he worked on the house. If I had not already had a painter lined up I would have had Kyle do the painting as well - he had just finished a job around the corner, along with the people who gave me recommendations, which looked great so I have no doubt that would have been done to my standards as well. Anything I had concerns about he addressed and/or changed. He took a little longer than other companies might have and is the same guy that will give you the bid AND work on your project. I highly recommend him and KCS for the job.

They showed up on time. They were very fast at what they did. The cost was the same as the estimate. They were very courteous when they were there. They cleaned up everything when they were done.

Good quality work completed in a timely manner. Price was 30% less than other bid and Kyle was able to do the job right away vs waiting 3 weeks with other contractor. Did the work himself vs subcontractors.
