Let our place in a total mess for months....RIP off. If he is working for you please let us know! Post it! Please note: His CCB is expired.. If you research Breeding construction thru the CCB you will find our dispute and award recorded.
Description of Work: This guy hired day laborers and left them unsupervised on our property. Took off siding and left it exposed for months. Used unskilled laborers who preformed work that wouldn't even pass code. Invoiced us for work not done & threatened us with a 25% interest penalty if not paid within 3days. Very shady person. Changed ha CCb# multiple times. The ultimate con. If you've been ripped off by this guy please post. I know we aren't alone. We had to hire another contractor and pay more money to finish the work. We took our case to the CCB and the up didn't even show up at arbitration. We managed to get his $ 20,000 bond but loss tens of thousands of dollars on this vendor! DON'T NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY! He should be sued for fraud!

The owner of the company is a nice guy but not a great business man. I'm grateful that he understood my vision. Basically, I got what I wanted. The project started off well with a complete gutting of the kitchen area. The subcontractor he relied on to do the majority of the work (Michael Messner of Messner Remodeling) started with good intentions. About 1/3 of the way through the job, he started to miss days without prior notice. Several days would go by and he wouldn't show. Then near the end of the job, he just stopped showing up. We discovered that the stove vent hood that was supposed to be hooked up through the attic vent wasn't attached at all, even after he spent several hours in the attic to attach it. He also brought his son to the job and used my project for OJT. I might have been okay with that, but the kid was new to the work and was not competently supervised. After a while Mike stopped showing up at all. With several items left hanging I had to call the company owner to finish up. He left several punch list items undone. Then the new cabinet over the refrigerator came off the wall. After several calls I finally heard from Mike that he'd come to fix it. He missed 4 scheduled appointments. Then I didn't hear from him at all. Now, nearly a year later, the cabinet is still sitting on top of the refrigerator and I have to call another company to fix the problem. Both the owner and the subcontractor are totally unresponsive. Don't do any work with either of these two people/companies.
Description of Work: The company was hired to remodel my kitchen. Small miscellaneous projects were added to the whole experience.
