Paul Fisher Construction

Paul did all the framing and roofing. He also helped coordinate other subcontractors: excavation, foundation, etc. Paul is very thoughtful and responsible and extremely competent and experienced with building in this north coast climate. We highly recommend him.

We lost a small section of vinyl siding during a winter storm at the beach. I found the replacement panels but didn't want to do the job myself. After searching I was pleasantly surprised to find Paul Fisher just 10 miles up the road in Nehalem. He had given me a reasonable estimate on the phone. When I got the materials I called him again and he showed up the next day (New Years Day), and completed the job is less time and expense that estimated. I paid him a little more than asked because I was so happy to find a professional, quick, and efficient construction person so close. I have since asked Paul to bid on a couple other jobs I have coming up.

On time , on budget, no complaints. Would hire him again

The project went very smoothly. I contacted Mr. Fisher by phone about getting an estimate for painting the trim on our house, and he said he would stop by for a look at the work needed, and get back to me. He called the next day and wished to send a written proposal by email, but for some reason it would not go through, so he mailed it to me, and it arrived in a few days. After thinking about it for a week or so, I sent him back the proposal with a check for 50% down on the job, following up with a phone call to discuss the time frame for the painting. He was finished a day earlier than planned, but we could not meet with him until the following day when we paid him the remaining 50%.

Mr Fisher started work in May. The plan was to renovate an existing house, after finding that the floor supports were not usable it was decided to tear everything down and build a totally new house. The foundation was OK, but needed leveling and earth quake rebuilding.

With all these problems the house was completed by the end of August and I moved in November 1, 2010

It isn't all the easy to find a professional, quality and responsible help - especially at the coast. We feel very lucky to have found Paul Fisher. He is extremely professional, reliable, and knowledgeable. His workmanship, skills and talent are superior to any contractors we have ever used.
