Kevin Kennedy Construction

August 2009 we completed the plans for our new home and shop. We had four contractors bid on the construction of a 1500 sq ft ag building and a 7000 sq ft house as phase two upon successful completion of the phase one. We selected a contractor for the Ag building and that was completed in April of 2010. We were not satisfied with the construction process, communication and the completion schedule of the initial contractor. We then contacted Kennedy Construction, had them update their bid, and discussed their availability to build the house. Kevin was very responsive on updating his bid, it did not change significantly but he was not available until August. We wanted to start as soon as possible. He worked with us to get a cement contractor to do the basement and foundation work so that it could start on July 1 and then when he was ready he could start on August 1. He supervised the concrete work and made sure it was performed properly. He brought on additional help to do the framing which took longer than anticipated but was due to the complexity of the structure. We altered the master bath, and kitchen to improve the functionality and attractiveness. Kevin was very helpful and contributed to the design. After the house was framed and wired, he allowed me to install audio, video and internet wiring to a wiring closet. He allowed me to install hardwood flooring in my office upstairs. He worked with us on the entry floor to include ceramic tile inlays in the hardwood floor. It is beautiful and welcoming. He was very cooperative and gave us sufficient time to make decisions without being in a mode to require the decision immediately. Everyone who visits the home remarks about the construction craftsmanship and the details of the home. We are very pleased with the home and would highly recommend Kevin for any construction project.
