Very good experience. I wanted an arborist, and Roots and Shoots has done work in the neighborhood for years. De-sailed 2 very large fir trees, pruned maple and cherry trees. Price was competitive. They came back another day to finish all the work, but I had no time constraint. The office kept me informed of the schedule, so no surprises. Trees look great!

They were extremely professional and did an amazing job. I would use them again and recommend their service.

They got everything removed in 2 days. I referred them to a friend and she felt the same way about how awesome this company is.

Justin at Roots and Shoots Tree Service came to us highly recommended when we needed some serious work done on several very large trees on our property.  He evaluated and proposed a pruning plan for our huge Walnut, Spruce, and a Sequoia to both improve their health and appearance.  His proposal was huge in its scope, but very reasonable in price for the work that needed to be done.
The Roots and Shoots crew were fabulous - very skilled, professional and knowledgeable - and they also explained what they were doing as they did the work.  It was clear they valued our trees as much as we did and treated both them and us with respect because they were true ARBORISTS, not just tree trimmers.   By far the best and most professional tree crew we have ever worked with, and a far cry from the more common "tree butchers" we have encountered in the past.  And, just because it needed it, they also pruned our weakly producing pear tree at no additional charge.
The results of their work were simply astounding - the trees not only looked great initially, but continue to look great with a little maintenance pruning years later.  The enormous Sequoia is not only more open and healthier, but also produces about half of the annual deadfall it used to shed ever year.  And, the pear tree immediately began producing bumper crops.  Anybody need some pears?
We could not recommend Justin and Roots and Shoots more highly.  They are the only arborists we will call for our valued trees.

. Roots and Shoots did a fantastic job of planting, trimming splitting wood, stacking it and cleaning up every area they worked in. They went above and beyond our expectations. They go about every aspect of their work in a very timely and professional manner. We will have them back next year for inspection and to do any work they think is needed.

Justin and his crew arrived on time and immediately began setting up their equipment to take down our 6 very tall cedar trees which were located right against our back and side fences. They proceeded to systematically remove the branches from each tree without the debris spilling over into my neighbors yards and ultimately these multi-trunked trees were removed with only a small stump left. During this day long job they kept the amazingly large amount of branches and tree parts removed chipped up and left the area cleaned. The maple tree we wanted to keep now has plenty of light and room to branch out and we have plenty of firewood to use and share. I spoke with my next door neighbor who watched this tree removal for awhile and was pleased to hear her say -- and quot;I was amazed at how they managed to drop those branches and limbs perfectlyand quot;. This job had worried us since it was not an easy one and the end result was completely positive due to their professional abilities. Thanks to the entire Roots and Shoots crew!!

He was very thorough and explained everything. He really took his time to explain the different plants and the things we need to do progressively.

They trimmed brances to make them healthy and put a brace in one tree to make it stable. I would recommend this company to anyone.

They are a terrific company! They have a certified Arborist, which was an advantage for me. They not only knew what do but how to do it as well. If there was such a thing as a tree whisperer, it would be them! They have never done any work that was unsatisfactory and the trees always looked a million times better than before they arrived. The pricing was very fair, but not cheap either. I will be referring them and using them again.

Justin is a very gifted arborist who is knowledgeble, honest, and personable.

They were terrific and the work was excellent. I can’t say enough good things about them. They arrived on time, did the work and cleaned up after themselves. They were polite and wonderful. Their price was fine for what we got. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future if necessary.

His prices are not the cheapest in town, but he is very knowledgeable and in this field (as in many others), you get what you pay for. He really cares about trees and knows about trees.

I don't know why I bother to have anyone else bid my tree jobs. Justin and his team are fabulous and usually come in at a lower cost than others. You do need to schedule out a little way though.

Justin came first for an estimate. Right on time. Told me that one tree I thought needed to be removed did not need to be removed and suggested I make a notch in my porch roof to accommodate the tree. I did and it turned out beautifully. When he came to do the work, he was right on time, got right to work, and had a great crew. They worked hard and well together. He gave me good advice about my trees and was very knowledgeable. He and his crew were outstanding.

Justin and his team did an excellent job. We discussed problem trees and how to deal with them. We discussed replacement trees for several areas. The work was done with care for safety. Our Maples that were thinned look better than we imagined they could. Branches were mulched, trunks were cut up and removed, all debris raked up so that things were normal very quickly.

Justin arrived at our house promptly for our appointment and walked through the yard with me looking at the trees. I immediately knew he was an expert because he could identify the trees upon site and even knew that some had been grafted onto other trunk bases. He gave me an education about the trees (watering, sun, lifespan, how healthy each tree was and what trimming it needed to stay healthy). He provided a good detailed quote with a fair price. When scheduled, his team did a oustanding job. I didn't need to be home for the work. When I came home, the trees looked lovely. They were thinned and looked clean and healthy, but not "scalped" in any way. It was clear that his team did oustanding high quality work. I will use Roots and Shoots exclusively for my tree needs in the future, and highly reccomend them to anyone.
