I called Natural Effects to get a second quote on getting help with my 5 acre property in Mulino. They responded right away. Stanley was very professional, clean cut, and friendly. He took a look around, asked what I needed and wanted, and I got an estimate later on in the same day via email. He's a busy guy, I can see why, the service was great. It took him a week to get back out to my place but boy he and his helper sure did work FAST, and they got a LOT done. I was impressed. It would have taken me a week to get all that work done. Super happy that I called them. They're coming back out on Wednesday to finish and I'm 100% sure I'll be asking them to come back to help keep the good work they did looking good :)

Stan came out to my place on a Monday and gave me an estimate on how much the job would cost and how long it would take. He came back the following Saturday at the time agreed and immediately went to work. He worked steadily until the job was finished and did an excellent job. The job took about 15 minutes longer than his estimate due to some of the leaves on my lawn being frozen to the ground, but this did not affect the price of the job.
Stan was very personable and professional. He brought all the equipment that he needed, and his clean up was fast and very efficient. I plan to use him exclusively in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone needing his services.

Natural Effects has done our yard maintenance work for at least ten years. Unlike other maintenance services we used, they were very reliable, almost always coming at the scheduled time. Given Portland weather, this is quite an achievement. Their prices are very reasonable, averaging probably $150 a month over 8 months for service every other week. They were willing to do all kinds of extra chores, for instance, repotting plants in containers and cleaning up the garden storage room. The owner Stan Burley was easily reachable by phone and was responsive to requests for specific services. He was also amenable to our request to do hand weeding rather than using sprays. His workers were professional, competent, and courteous.
