The quote was fast and friendly, and they were open on a Saturday (a big plus!) The house was empty, and I wanted them to do the carpets before I moved in. I had just painted the entire inside, and was away on other chores when they came to put in the carpet. They were on time, but when I came back I found that they had left dirty handprints on EVERY SINGLE WALL on my new paint. The carpet wasn't vacuumed and there were bits of carpet everywhere. I was unimpressed.
I've waited a while to see if the installation sloppiness was the only problem. I've found other issues: when I walk around in bare feet, I can feel large lumps under the carpet where either padding or carpet bits were left under during installation (this is not a flooring problem - they're small, squishy lumps like padding.) I also discovered a vent had been carpeted over, which would explain why I had a floor return stuffed into one of my empty cabinets - I cut the hole myself.
Price was fine, and the service was on time and fast enough, and the carpet is decent but they get a "fail" on installation. There are better options available. The only thing a carpet company is selling is their price, and their service - everyone has the same options in carpet. Maybe it was just a bad day or something, but that's the experience I had.

I HAVE HIRED DUTCH BOY FLOOR SERVICES TO CLEAN MY CARPETS MANY TIMES. THEY ARE VERY THOROUGH AND CAREFUL TO TREAT STAINS. EVERYONE IS VERY FRIENDLY, FROM THE PERSON IN THE OFFICE TO THE ONE CLEANING THE CARPET.
