Jeff did excellent work. He was fast, very clean and did great prep ahead of time to result in a clean finish. He cut and polished to unnoticeable difference from the prior finish. All work was done fast and efficiently.

Excellent. Couldn't have been better. Cleaned work area each day. Used traps on work path. Marble and granite now have a mirror like shine. Left a list of recommended cleaning products. I highly recommend Wiley's.

Jeff Wiley's son, Jaron, spent almost 2 hours in our kitchen, painstakingly filling and then scraping down the gouge. When he was done, the damage was virtually invisible ? no one who didn't know exactly where to look would ever be able to tell that anything was different. He matched the color of the granite perfectly, and even the sheen of our honed finish. We were so relieved.
The process is fairly smelly, given the kind of resin they use to fill the damage, but he brought along a fan to help with ventilation, and was very careful about protecting the floor and the cabinets as he worked. We could not be happier with the work he did.

They did an awesome job. They shower had etching from acid over the years (vinegar is not nice to natural marble) and needed a really good going over. When it was done it looked brand-new. I also learned about better products to use to protect my investment.

Jeff came on time, was efficient and productive on the job. He did a very good job of cleaning marble countertops that hadn't been cleaned in 20 years. He is knowledgeable, dedicated, talented, and courteous. Will use him again.

They arrived on time, covered everything in the room with plastic, refinished the coffee table, cleaned up beautifully by using their vacum cleaner. The finished product was totally acceptable. They took time to fill a large hole and it now looks like it is a part of the table that has been there forever. I was very pleased.

We made an appointment for Jeff Wiley to look at the project and make a proposal. He arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable about this type of granite and explained what to expect from the resurfacing. Jeff emailed the proposal which we accepted. We then made an appointment for the work and Jeff and his wife arrived on time. It was a three day process to resurface and seal. They were very professional, covered everything, worked efficiently, and then cleaned up everything. The counters are 100% improved. Jeff is very committed to doing a good job and urged me several times to call him if we had any problems or concerns. I highly recommend Wiley's and would use them again.

This work necessitated a very tight timeline. Some other companies weren't able to meet that timeline, but Mr. Wiley arranged to fit the estimate in around other jobs, and then applied a poultice to draw the grease out of the slate. He and his wife returned several days later to do the cleaning and sealing. They worked neatly & efficiently, leaving no mess when the work was completed. This work was done at a condo we own in SW Portland.

I contacted this company through their website and they responded promptly with their cost basis and scheduling information. This was a husband/wife team that arrived on time and went to work on my countertop. I was interested in watching over their shoulders to see how the repair was being done (and found it very interesting), and this, they didn't mind. They prepared the area to prevent messing up surrounding areas, they matched/mixed a color that was in perfect harmony with my countertop, they drilled out a small chip to ensure the epoxy would bond, and filled the chips that were around the sink area, and then leveled them with a razor blade to be perfectly level with the surrounding surface. They used a blow dryer to harden the epoxy, and then sanded the areas smooth. It was a perfect result that I could not tell was a repair - it looked so good in matching the surrounding areas. This is a very nice couple that worked well together, and I enjoyed visiting with them while they worked. I even had the opportunity to learn about the different types of countertops and which are better and why. They cleaned up the area nicely, and were on their way in less than 2 hours. I am very happy with the result and would definitely use this firm and will recommend them to anyone needing granite countertop repair.

I highly recommend this company. We were struggling with our honed/antiqued granite counter-tops that we had tried to seal ourselves. Because of the unique surface we were given bad information previously about what to use which created a build up. Jeff not only took care of all that but he took the time to educate us on the best way to take care of granite. We are thrilled with the outcome and happy to have it back to the original look.
I was also so impressed by the professionalism exhibited, when he said he get back to me he meant it and did. Great experience all around.

"We thank you for the work. I feel I should respond to the issue about my wife using the bathroom for those reading this report. First my wife works with me full time. We are a team and we perform every job together. When I said I wanted to get my wife to use the bathroom it wasn't only to use the bathroom but also to bring her in to start setting up to work. The bathroom in question is the powder room (the one for guest) and also the place we had to work (polishing the vanity). She spent a lot of time in there setting up the plastic and protection. We also polished the master vanity in the master bathroom. As this is not a construction site there is no portable toilet outside for workers. We work hard and we drink a lot of water and we do have to use the bathroom occasionally. That was me who knocked on the powder room door and used the bathroom later in the day (after we had completed the work in the powder room). We do know that some people are very particular about people using their bathrooms and we often ask first where is a restroom we can use. I'm sorry I didn't do that in this instance. We had finished our previous job early and had arrived early and had been waiting and she had to go bad. My concerns about her comfort overrode my usual consideration on this. I apologize for that. To anyone ready this comment, please be aware that if we work for you we will most likely need to use a toilet while we are there. I don't think this is unprofessional or unwarranted. -Jeff"

I had originally asked 3 companies to view and bid the job. Wiley's responded within a few hours, and was very courteous and professional. We set an appointment and the owner came out the next day, viewed the work and gave us a fair quote. At this time, the other 2 companies had not responded and it was almost 48 hours from my original request. Since the quote was fair, and others from Angie's List had given good reviews of Wiley's, we just scheduled the job right on the spot. 2 days prior to the job, the owner called to remind us of the start date. They were here 5 minutes prior to the start time, not an hour later like we have seen from other vendors. They laid down tarps to keep the walk way clean and performed the work like they explained. In addition to the owner, his son and wife were also working on the job. They came back on Saturday to finish so we wouldn't be inconvenienced the whole weekend waiting until Monday for our bathroom to be back and operational.
This was one of the best experiences we have encountered from the building trade. They were fair, punctual, courteous, honest, thorough and the work was beyond our expectations. GREAT JOB WILEY'S !!!

I called Jeff Wiley. He responded quickly, came over, assessed work to be done, gave me an estimate. I am preparing my house for sale and wanted to restore the marble to "as new" condition.
He arrived early on the agreed upon date, waited outside until appointment time. Came in and set to work. Was finished in approximately 4 hours. The marble looks magnificent. He did an outstanding job. Was careful not to harm wood floor or carpeting. He did a bit more than we agreed to. I asked him to just take care of any etching he found. The price was more than fair. I was thrilled with his service. He also gave me advice on how to remove water stains on my granite and product recommendations for cleaning and polishing. I couldn't be happier with his services. I would gladly use him again and would recommend him without reservation!

This was a tough job with no simple solution. The yellowing of the marble was a bit of a mystery. Jeff was willing to try a number of approaches and was very generous with his time.
The shower is much improved. He is going to help me with our second shower soon. I really apprecuiated all his and his wife's hard work and dedication on this project! I highly recommend them.

Excellent. Countertops were originally a high polish, and anyone with natural stone knows that water stains are impossible to avoid. They came in and recommended a softer finish - less money, and hides the inevitable water spots, and allows me to buff them out myself. Looks so much better.
