When Erin first arrived at our home, she was met with a small grass-covered yard, with a few shrubs, plantings, and a single tree. The yard is quite small (only about 10'-11' in any direction). Our plain fence was on it's last legs. We just had a cracked 10' cement slab outside our sliding door to the back yard. Overall, a very plain and boring place to be. When she asked us for our 'wish list,' we basically told her we wanted the grass to go, to be replaced with some type of English garden and someplace for entertaining. So she replaced it with a bluestone walkway that greets us at the street, then rambles from the front to the back yard, with irish and spanish moss between the stones, and fragrant lavender greets you as you begin the journey. Front, side and back yard is filled with grasses, flowering shrubs and plants that bloom from early spring to late fall. Helleborus, heuchera, hebe, hydrangea, hostas, bergenia, ferns, an ornamental clerodendron tree and much more. She designed a beautiful curving rock seating wall beneath a lovely pergola. We have a small area for our adirondack chairs where we can sit and look across our paver patio at our quaint water feature. We have a beautiful new privacy fence all around. WE LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! We made a few tweaks to the original plan (it took about 4 months total to plan it, as we were in no rush and just wanted to make sure we got everything in that we wanted as well as the items Erin recommended), and Erin was very responsive and got it all just right!! We would definitely use her valued services again if the opportunity presented itself.

I have worked with Erin Wagner over several years, because I landscaped my back yard, followed by my front yard years later. My experience has been outstanding. Erin was very responsive to my needs and concerns, including discussing various options at various price points, and how to phase in a plan over time, if necessary. She asked many questions about how we used the space and how we would like to use the space, and her design was reflective of her attentiveness to our desires. Erin does beautiful work. Her designs are a work of art in and of themselves, and the results have exceeded our expectations. Erin made recommendations that I had never thought of, including putting a beautiful, semi-transparent fence in the front yard because of our young children. Her suggestions have greatly increased our enjoyment of our yard as well as the beauty. We receive many complements from neighbors and people we don't know, who walk by our house. It's beautiful! Erin is very responsive, reliable and an incredibly pleasant to work with. I would recommend her to anyone!

It went great. They were flexible and they were responsive to what we asked of them. They were timely, creative and on budget.

Erin is easy to work with. We had big ideas, and she also had several suggestions and modifications to our ideas that were good ones. She also probed me on what I thought I wanted to spend as she can draw whatever we want, but reminded me that it's the implementation that costs the big bucks--so she was sensitive to what we could afford. I changed my mind a couple of times and she never had a problem with my changes. After the plan was done, she has continued to make additional suggestions to me and whenever I have a question about the plan she is responsive and gets me what I need. We are still bidding out the work and aren't sure when we will put the plan into action but on paper it is fabulous! When we get going, she is also willing to work with our contractor to help identify plants to relocate and is willing to consult with them and will then charge by the hour.

Erin came highly recommended from numerous people but to be honest, I was hesitant about the need for a landscape designer. She came to our house and asked questions about what we liked and didn't like about our existing yard and our goals for the spaces. She did a fantastic job listening to my husbands and my differing goals and wishes and was polite when informing us the plants we loved would not thrive in full sun. She then measured the site. A few weeks later when she presented the planting plan it was a work of art. We had given her creative license with the specifics and were giddy with the final results of design. Our yard is breathtakingly beautiful now. No other home improvement project has done so much for our house and our families pleasure.

Erin came up with a Master Plan from our first meeting that far exceeded our expectations. She was punctual and so creative. She worked well with our contractors, which I also recommend, even to placing the plants after they were delivered. The entire project was well coordinated and we loved her recommendations on every detail especially the stone work. She turns dreams into a reality.

Adam listened to what we wanted to see done and then complemented our ideas with his own vision for a truly wonderful backyard, complete with a flagstone patio, dry stack rock wall, large fish pond with a cascading waterfall, accent lighting, lots of plantings and vegetable garden. We had hoped to include an in-ground spa with the project but the costs for that were well beyond our budget. Adam tried but wasn't able to make that element work. Be prepared to be a little flexible with your budget.

Adam met with me to get an idea of what I was looking for in my new backyard. I had a small, urban backyard and a limited budget. He listened to my ideas and designed a plan taking everything into account. He did a very professional job, measuring the site, presenting a sketch for my approval, and then giving me plans printed to scale with exactly what I had envisioned. He kept in contact with me the entire time via phone, email, and meetings. He communicated time-lines and was always on time with his work and our meetings. Overall, I was very impressed. The design is creative and beautiful. I'm implementing it very soon!
