"I initially hired Steiner Remodel to help me redo the floors in my 1921 built house. I wanted to ditch the carpet and replace it with wood. Beyond that I was really unprepared for the job. Tim (owner operator) really helped me out with material both in selection and in explanation as to expense and labor time and I am very pleased with the results and the knowledge i gained. Tim did such an outstanding job on the floor that I just kept adding jobs until I had done a fairly substantial remodel. Kitchen, master bath, floors and a rogue pipe burst and subsequent rebuild of the room the pipe burst in. Tim was fast and efficient in his work and paid exceptional attention to detail. The part of the remodel I was the most surprised by was the gutting of my bathroom. I didn't think any amount of work would make the room any better as it was not possible to expand without some serious alterations to the house's structure and for the entirety of my time living in the house I have strongly disliked it. Tim turned it into the best possible place it could be and I have never been happier to be in there. On more than one occasion there were unknown unrelated problems from past work and he helped me figure out the best way to solve them for my budget. One of those options was to just tell me how to do some of the more basic things and let me do them myself. Tim was very accommodating to my needs and his communication was excellent. I have been nothing but satisfied with Steiner Remodel and I also recently had Tim rebuild my fence and gate. Again exceptional work and I plan to hire him again. Thanks Steiner Remodel (Tim)!!"

Steiner Remodel has done multiple jobs for me, and the work has always been excellent. Tim and his crew do amazing work. He's done repair and remodel work on 2 of our houses and my recording studio. These guys are trustworthy and affordable. I don't even bother getting quotes from anyone else anymore. The pride they take in their work and their motivation as a local family-owned business sets them apart from all other flakey, bare-minimum-effort contractors/remodeling services. I had an excellent experience over a 8+ month period working with Tim Steiner and his smart, warm, hard-working, patient, engaging crew who have mad skills and a mountain of integrity. Any time I got an idea for a change (can we move this whole wall out?) the answer was "Sure, Emily. Let us work out how and what it would cost for you." Tim worked with me from Day 1 to focus and design what I wanted, and he and Mike, who did all the detailed, plain english estimates, helped me understand exactly what goes into building it. Tim's eye for design beats the heck out of mine and he took me to look at all the materials in person. When in doubt I followed his recommendations and the results are clean, handsome, current, and make me smile every day. They have mad skills with tile work: what a difference when they turned a funky tiny on-suite bathroom into a beautiful, spacious, spa-like space (see photo, embarrassed to reveal the "before"). These guys delivered the beautiful, updated, love-living-here house I wanted, plus it now has structural, plumbing and electrical integrity in every corner the team reached, which was most of them. Never left me hanging with a question or concern, and had the gentle foresight to help me make good choices I might otherwise have missed. I'm a fan for life.

Tim Steiner completely remodeled my first home in the Milwaukie area. This included full kitchen, bathroom, flooring, tile work, you name it. We were on a strict budget and were able to accomplish everything we wanted and it turned out absolutely amazing. We interviewed 3 contractors to do a fairly extensive remodel and he was the obvious choice, giving us a plan and model of what it would look like after they were done. We were given options for how things would look with different colors. He met every timeline, didn't go over budget. Worked with our lender to be within their guidelines with our 203k loan. He did a first class job and treated us so great throughout the entire process. I will 100% continue to refer him to anyone in need of a repairs on their home. I believe you can see our home featured on his website, it is a home that means the world to my family.

I highly recommend Steiner Remodel! I have engaged them since 2020 for a few large projects: Master Bathroom (2020) and Bedroom (2021) renovations as well as a full Basement remodel (2022). It is an old house with parts dating over 100 years. It is a bit of a Frankenstein house with a few generations of renovations, which created many challenges. Tim and his team met them head on, provided insightful advice and guided me through every step and decision. Professional, approachable, and flexible, Tim is a pleasure to work with. During the design process, he really listened to what I wanted and helped my dreams for my home become a reality. Tim and his team have become friends after these last few years and they probably know my house better than I do at this point. I will be continuing to contract Steiner Remodel for many more projects to come.

Tim and his team put in a beautiful new bathroom for me this year. It was expensive, but I feel like I got what I paid for. I really appreciated how communicative and transparent Tim was about things like timelines, materials options, and costs. He took care of all of the complicated permitting and paperwork so that I didn't have to. And the guys on his team were lovely, friendly people to have around! 10/10 would hire again.
