We got caught in a major jamb with our bathroom remodel prior to moving into our house. One of our friends had signed on to tile our bathroom and at the last minute he got into an accident and couldn't finish the job. We were desperately looking for a contractor to help us, as it is the only bath in the house and we were 3 days away from moving in. I got John Emerson's name and number from my Realtor who had worked with him in the past. After calling several contractors and other friends, I gave him a call. He was taking the day off to spend with his family, but said he could swing by in an hour. When he came by he took a look at the job and gave me a rough quote. He apologized that he wouldn't be able to start working on it until the Monday after we moved in because his business partner that handled tile was out of town for the weekend. We decided to go with him, because of how prompt he was and how quickly he could start working. The job went pretty well. There was a slight snag into the speed of the job, when the smaller mosaic tile needed longer to dry, so they had to add an additional day. I asked if they could also texture the drywall. They agreed and gave us a good price. When the tile was complete, it looked fantastic. There was only a slight problem with one of the faucet fixtures that was not caused by the crew. I had to call in a plumber to repair it. When the plumber came he accidentally broke a tile and I had to call John and his crew to repair it. They came out and repaired the tile for no charge and now the bathroom is complete. Other than the work, which was performed well. John, Eric and Tony were very accommodating with our house. They worked around our schedule and our 10 month old baby who has a tendency to crawl all around and block doorways. They were up front with the pricing and any snags that came up. I would definitely use them again and will be consulting them for an upcoming remodel job.
