The problem was solved, but he was very rude. He was very short with me and treated me as if I was an idiot.I felt as if I was wasting his time.

"We never received any indication from this customer that he was not satisfied with our service. We have reached out to the customer, so we can do our best to meet his needs and learn why our normally outstanding service may have fallen short of his and our expectations. Unfortunately, with technical issues, sometimes we do have to explain things multiple times. Usually this is not a problem, but sometimes customers get frustrated if they don't understand. We do our best to explain things in a polite and professional manner. Since this review has been posted a long time after the service was initially performed, it makes it harder to pinpoint the exact issues, but we will do our best to assist and understand his problems."

"The customer's problem(s) were resolved in a timely manner. In addition, the cost charged to the customer was only $239 (plus tax) for the services provided, NOT $500. The customer did not know how to operate the software / website he was trying to use and that may have resulted in some of his disappointment. However, we were still able to recover most of his data he had accidentally deleted / purged. We also fixed several other issues on his laptop and wireless connectivity issues to his satisfaction. We were never notified of any issues / problems, or else we would've been happy to work with him to correct them."

I started out, by calling the company that had been recommended by the reviews on Angie's list and getting a quote. The quote sounded very reasonable. I made an appointment and took my computer (desktop) in and left it with them. The business looked very clean and professional, and the staff were very friendly. I was told that the job would be done within 3 days, at that point I felt very comfortable leaving my computer with them. They called me in just under 3 days and told me that the computer was ready to be picked up. I went and picked it up and was happy that the job actually cost less than I thought and and I would recommend this company to everyone.

Arrived at store. They were able to get my computer into the tech fairly quickly. I was provided an estimate of when a problem assessment should be available. Well ahead of the time estimate provided, the tech completed a diagnosis of my computer, verifying operational capability of the hardware and operating system. Isolated "problem" to a keyboard-lock that I had unknowingly initiated. The staff politely and professionally explained the tests they performed and the results. And then explained the cause of the problems I was experiencing and trained me on how I could "not" cause that problem in the future. And as importantly, how I could identify and recover from this particular problem in the future.

Talked to a gal on the phone and got excellent directions to store and complete disclosure of potential costs. If the problem was to replace the hard drive, she recommended getting an external drive. They were totally honest with potential costs. (How refreshing!!) I took it in on Monday at 9 am and it was done by 4 pm the same day!

We began experiencing a significant slow down in our Internet access. This was caused by the installation of a program named error free. Geeks removed all traces of the program which had installed sub routines that interfered with our normal security causing the reduced operations. After error free was removed our computers returned to their normal operating speeds.

My daughter's computer went on the blink and we needed to find a solution before school started. I called and spoke to Niki who gave me outstanding directions to their office. She was very friendly and the quote was reasonable. Within a short time she phoned to let us know it was fixed. It was the power supply as suspected and she only charged us the half hour it took to fix it plus the cost of the hardware.

Robert from Geeks came to my home and picked up my computer after taking down what I wanted them to do. He printed an estimate of charges and gave to me before he left. It took him a little longer than he thought to get past the GO BACK software (which I understand can cause problems). He would have delivered my computer to my home and hooked it up but I met him at my office and took it home myself to hook up. He and his office staff were polite and called me several times to get my approval before adding memory and giving me a status on my computer. Charges were reasonable and I would use them again.

VERY NICE, PROFESSIONAL COMPUTER CONSULTANT CAME TO THE HOUSE. FOUND OUT WHERE THE PROBLEM WAS, WORKED ON THE COMPUTER A LITTLE OVER AN HOUR. HE ALSO SUGGESTED WHICH KIND OF PROGRAMS TO ADD, HOW MUCH MEMORY, HOW MUCH MONEY WAS TOO MUCH TO SPEND ON MY PARTICULAR COMPUTER AND HELPED ME FIGURE OUT WHAT MY PERSONAL NEEDS IN TERMS OF COMPUTER NEEDS WERE.

A CONCLUSION WAS QUICKLY MADE AS TO THE PROBLEM OF OUR COMPUTER NOT WORKING CORRECTLY AND HE VERY EFFICIENTLY REPAIRED & REPLACED NECESSARY PROGRAMS. THE CLEAN UP ALONE OF THE INFECTED AREAS WAS TIME CONSUMING.
