"Cornerstone had the gates up within 2 weeks and as per our policy it it the customers responsibility to bring power to the location of operators. Cornerstone made several trips to the job site only to find out the power was not there and when it was finally there it was up and running the same day. It has not been Cornerstones experience to wait as long as we did for items to be completed by the customer in order for us to complete our installation. We pride ourselves on customer service and if something comes up on our end we communicate this with our customer."
The old gate opener did not work. They replaced with a rebuilt commercial opener and gave me a 5 yr warranty and price break on product. Hilton came to our house and suggested that we replace with a new system box a remote that will let cars out but not in and a better gate opener. The great crew came out and spent about 5-6 hrs installing our new system. They then had my wife and myself down and instructed us to operation, setting codes and even removed cover from the unit and explained the operation. My wife even learned and set five codes. From the start with the customer service person who kept us informed to Hilton and to the installation team a big THANK YOU
NOT TRUE!! Our driveway is a causeway across a lake!! How could that possibly be straight forward? This was clearly visible in the photos I sent them. I judge service best when something does go wrong. How the does company then live up to their promises? With Cornerstone, they promised to bury the gate opening wand IN the drive where it would not be seen. When they got out here, they said they couldn?t. Something they would have KNOWN had they bothered to do an onsite inspection before bid. Now I have an UGLY LONG antennae lying on my shoreline.
Their solution to make it right,? they gave us 50 bucks on a 3 grand bill and left us to fix the mess.
Here are the actual exchanges

THEY PROMISE TO MAKE IT RIGHT AND THEN TELL ME I SHOULD BE HAPPY WITH HOW HARD THEY WORKED ON MY BID?? What does that have to do with the ugliness on our property and the work they did not complete per their bid?

Shari,
I have given you the $50.00 discount. So the balance due is $1,450.00.
Cornerstone strives on happy customers, we had to do alot of research to make sure we were getting you the correct and best for your money items for your situation (long range receiver and transmitters compitable that would work with the Solar operator).
We are truly sorry that you are not a happy customer but please remember if you do have any issues or questions with your system we are here to help you.
thank you for your business,
Glenda

Subject: gate update for Rich
Justin was wonderful and professional. Showed up on time and installed gate [operators]. Explained and demonstrated its features articulating and patiently and left us with a smile.
One negative will have to addressed; however, he said he could not bury the wand. It lies beside our driveway in the lake view and is very unsightly. I am sure you will agree we should not have to pay for having a wand ditched and buried when that did not happen.
Suggested resolutions
· haul in gravel to cover it where it lays
· credit to charges for this portion of unfinished job.

Shari,
Rich has purchased and sold you equipment that is for long range so everything should be ok, our guys will test and check everything before they leave and afterwords you have any questions or concerns you just let us know. We take care of our customers.
Since you had an existing gate we ususally don't make a site visit unless we are making the gate and install the posts and a hard wired system.
Your situation is pretty staight forward but like I said we will make sure you are happy with the system.
let me know if you have any more questions or concerns.
thank you,
glenda

I assume they test the remote clicker to make sure it does work from the house before installing it all yes? And if not, I get a refund on what I paid so far. I am nervous as no one has come in person to inspect the job site. This might be normal but this is all new to me.
Not much point in my paying for a system that?s too far away from the house to work.
