From initial contact to job completion was about a month. He estimated 2 weeks and job was finished in 9 working days. We had the type of deck (Trex) picked out beforehand. Referred by a friend who had used him to build a Trex deck and after we saw the quality and beauty of her deck, we decided to go with Jose. We were not disappointed. He gave us a written estimate and when we found additional work needed he always conferred with us stating the reasons for additional work and got our approval. This made the estimate somewhat open ended as you do not always know the extent of a remodel until it begins. When I got the final bill I was pleasantly surprised that the extra costs were modest. I believe he is honest and trustworthy, which to me is a very big deal.. We will definitely use him in the future. He does the work himself with primarily one worker so is always available for questions.
